Buffy and Angel podcasts

You should check out 'Delta Park Does Buffy' their new to the series so far they finished watching 2x02.

They also have a podcast for Dollhouse.

And Echo Alert the best DH podcast.

So, I have a question. Pardon if it's really obvious to other people but I'm looking at the Radio Free Sunnydale site and it has 7.1 and 2 up which, along with the 3.1 and so-on shown here, makes me think there must be a 5.1 and 2 for Season 5. But I can't find a link to it off their site... My eyesight sucks so it's way possible I'm just missing it. But I'm just wondering if anyone can help.

I think Radio Free Sunnydale just isn't working. I don't know if it worked in the past, but the links are all broken for me.

But....there's some great new stuff to listen to out there if you're looking to fill a Buffy podcast-shaped hole in your life!

The Potentialcast is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. I look forward to it every week. Three complete Buffy n00bs and one Buffy veteran all watch the series episode by episode and review it...it's HILARIOUS to hear all the newbies' predictions and observations. And of course, listening to these people document their Buffy indoctrination is pretty great too. Check it out on iTunes! They've just finished up 'Lie to Me'.

And has anyone been listening to The Hellmouth Podcast? The host, Bryan, is extremely insightful and I honestly take away a new interpretation or way of thinking from each episode. It's an episode by episode review of BTVS, and he's working his way through Season Three right now. He's starting up a separate ATS podcast after Season Three is over (and is still going to run the BTVS one! A LOT of dedication, lol).

Listen!! 😀

Do you have links for any of these? Bryan is a member here, right?
Both are up on iTunes, but if you don't use iTunes, here are the websites:

Potentialcast: http://potentialcast.blogspot.com/
Hellmouth Podcast: http://hellmouthpodcast.com/

I'm not sure if Bryan is a member here actually. I don't think so, since I'm thinking he would have advertised the podcast here sooner himself if he was. But still, go listen! They're both awesome. And they're putting out regular episodes! There are only a handful of podcasts left that do that.

One of the members of Buffy Boards has a really cool podcast called The Art of Slaying. I've really been enjoying it. I can't remember the address to their site, but it is on the Buffy Board link page 🙂

Oh, maybe this is the person I was thinking of who is a member here.
I'm listening to both PotentalCast and the Hellmouth podcast during my Buffy rewatch.

Two very different styles of covering the series but both of them are very enjoyable.

I was a guest on the PotentialCast's 'Prophecy Girl' episode and I'm scheduled to join them again for their 'Becoming Part II' episode too. Lots of fun. 🙂

I'm glad somebody mentioned Buffy Between the Lines.

It started ragged, but it gets better over time. The last few episodes of BBTL Season 2, and Angel Between the Lines are really, really good. They even have a spinoff, "Tales From Wolfram & Hart," that is beautifully done.

Here's another Buffy podcast (brand new actually, first installment.

Buffy Thoughts

Found this on the website, describes it better than I could:

"Its purpose is to help Buffy fans, new and old, get even more enjoyment and insight from this amazing saga. You will hear discussions about issues in the Buffyverse, and the Buffy/Angel fandom. There will be no episode reviews or season recaps, or celebrity news (that stuff is fine, but you can get it better elsewhere)."

A cookie to the one who figures out which BB-member made it.

LOL I wonder who? :D Thanks for posting! I love finding new Buffy podcasts.
I love the Hellmouth Podcasts. They have another podcast called "Investigating Angel" which they just started.

Just started listening the geekshow's season reviews. I quite enjoy listening to them exchange views. They have a good back and fourth flow, and do make some good points. But am on S2 and one of them are hating on John Ritter (because his character is a dickhead WTF?!) and don't think that he did a good job. Also, one of them doesn't like the episode because it is "dark" and "strange" AND YOUR POINT IS?😱 I find it a bit annoying when they repeat bits of dialouge and over do it, whether than just say they like that a bit because?

Still its a good listen, and which ever one it is makes a very good case for why The Puppet show is actually good! And I agree on that.
Am now reviewing Only Had Eyes for You. Agree with them on the 60s detail. A sleeper episode of the season for sure🙂

Opps! Having corrected the other guy on claiming that there is no more scenes involving a Beach post-Go Fish he gets the season wrong of Buffy VS. Dracula 🙄

Dude I cannot find that podcast. Can you give me a link?
Been listening to their S3 run down. Have been really interesting and think it maybe their best of the three so far. But found it odd that they consider Anya one of the most interesting characters in the entire show. I like the character but don't think I would go that far, and I know that many here wouldn't.

Am now on S4 review. The start is awesome. I like when he sacastically rips the piss out of the writers hammering you over the head with the Buffy is suffering thing😀

And a minute ago one of them just compared Buffy to HULK HOGAN! Brilliant😛

But WAIT! DID HE JUST SAY THAT HE likes Dawn, HATES TARA😱, and LIKES KENNEDY!? WTF!😳

I need to check these out. I've been listening to Dusted on iTunes. It's a spoiler-free review of each episode.. they are up to Passions

WTF! Restless is overrated? You are an idoit my friend!!😡

And their debating why Giles would go round Buffy's house to hang out? Or why it happens to be Buffy's house? Well why the **** not? And does it matter? TO BOTH!😉

I think I'll stick to good ole buffy boards. These podcasts sound somewhat annoying.

Nah man, you should really check out PotentialCast (on Season 7) and/or Redemptioncast (on Season 2; break til Buffy's over). It's 3 people who have never seen the show, and one super-fan. It's nice seeing a wide array of opinions on that show, and getting to hear people viewpoints who haven't watched the show dozens of times like us. One of the best things about it is that they've never stopped. I haven't done too much searching, but I haven't seen many Buffy podcasts make it all the way through. Granted, it takes like a full year to get a season done, but about 2 episodes per month isn't bad at all. CwDP is coming up next and I cannot wait. They're all gonna flip out.

Dusted is also very good, but it gets kind of annoying just how much they rave about that show. I know, there's a lot to love about this show, but I can't stand when people blatantly disregard faults within each episode. For example: They adored Reptile Boy. Not one bad thing to say about it (admittedly, I could be exaggerating).

Well, I'll admit those are some pretty random opinions right there, but you're never gonna like a podcast if you just want them to agree with everything you think. I suppose it would get annoying hearing a whole group of people agreeing on something like thinking Restless is overrated.

I know and it is partly me being over the top for comic effect and when listening to a podcast it can be painful as I can't physically punch them in the face😀 The Dawn one I don't mind too much, because actaully after the 5th season her characer did grown and I do think the MT is really good.
