Buffy and Angel theme

Whenever i listen to it (I have it on my ipod), all i can see is the emotional scene between Buffy and Angel in Becoming Pt.2. God, i nearly cried watching that scene. And i hardly ever cry about anything TV or Movie-wise.

That track is steadly rising up on my Most Played Songs on my Itunes. Who knows, it might over-take Billy Joel's "A Matter Of Trust" for the top-spot!

When it's replayed in I Will Remember You...that's the most emotional moment for me. Curse Joss Whedon and his inevitable betrayal!

This might make more sense if you read while listening to it.

Just how it starts off tentatively and almost unsure of itself (much like their relationship) and then builds steadier and steadier to something assertive and sure, then the piano brings in a moment of tenderness (Surprise) that swells to this huge crescendo that is as beautiful as it is devasting (Her shoving the sword through his chest), then it steadies itself again, almost echoing some of the earlier notes but melancholy (Season 3 Bangel) and then finishes it off with those final solitary notes, almost like an elipsis, like more is to come. (Like the promises they made in Chosen "Sometimes I do look that far ahead...").

Or, the other option is I'm insane lol 😉

I totally agree with this... I have always felt that way about the piece, and felt that just by listening to the music you can feel the emotions that they went through together.

I also agree with your last sentence, too. 😉 LOL

Yeah, insanity is still very much a possibility :)
I watched "Forever" recently, and did a double take when I heard this playing as Angel visited Buffy at the Graveyard.

I love the Bangel theme tune, it is heartbreaking. It adds a lot of emotion when its shown the Bangel scenes.
