Buffy and Angel are great together, I think so. In my own personal opinion.
Who do you think is Angel's soul mate?

I dont know i think buffy and angel where grea together and cordy and angel would have been great together but Angel had different types of loves with them both, with buffy it was more a love at first sight thing without really knowing why he loved her he just did. However cordy and angels love was one of those that blossomed from the seeds of friendship which i think is way better than the whole love at first sight etc thing because it means cordy and angel already know each other really well and we all know that no one knows angel better than cordelia!
 
Buffy and Angel are great together. I think Buffy is Angel's soulmate but I think he can still love others. Cordy and him were great too.
 
I have never really clung to their relationship, but it did have some amazing moments. It's like a fairy tale, how Angel fell instantly in love with Buffy while seeing her sit on the steps in LA. Angel went out of his way to change and protect her, and that really says a lot. The emotion behind their love was amazing.

Who are we to say about who's soulmate is whos? I try to stay positive and think about the good times that Buffy and Angel had, how their relationship developed and changed and so many layers, that you never knew what was going to happen. And any relationship that can make you cry and make you analyze how most relationships are is a good one. Buffy/Angel made me do this, so I suppose that it had some lasting effect on me.
 
I think that Buffy and Angel's love was spectacular, one of those once in a lifetime deals. After experiencing the love they shared, any love after that would just seem surreal.
 
I love the Buffy/Angel relationship! I think they're totally meant for each other! I definatly think they'd be "soul mates".
 
I never liked Buffy with Angel. But, there's definitely a soulmate-y kinda thing going on between them. I'm not sure it means, to me it doesn't mean that they have to be a couple. But they're obviously extremely important to eachother, and in a way I like that. But to me, their relationship in the three first BtVS seasons, became kind of boring...
Also, there's the Angel/Darla thing. That I of course did not realize until I had seen AtS... But they're relationship is also very important, and in a way more interesting, in my opinion.
 
I used to like Buffy and Angel. But it got boring. Buffy's better on her own. Less drama! Less whining. Not a Buffy fan 🙂
 
I did love Angel and Buffy together, and i think at one time, they were ment to be together, but things kept happening to them, pulling them apart, and i saw that as a kind of sign that maybe they shouldnt be together, not because they didnt love each other (because they obviously do!) but because they weren't right together, in another time, or place but not in Sunnydale, i think thats why Angel left, he knew they could never be together, even though he clung onto the dream of becoming a man, i think he knew deep down, it would never happen.
I loved the Angel and Cordy relationship, i think that really could of worked, but then pesky Conor got in the way!

My favourite relationship, by far is Willow :buffy_wil & Tara! :You_Rock_

in a weird way... I think Darla and Angel WERE soulmates. For somereason she's really who I wanted him to end up with before she got all dead and all, then I wanted him with Cordy but she got all dead and all.
 
Buffy and Angel are definatley soul mates. I mean Angel lost his soul after making love to her because he experienced a moment of true happiness. I think that proves that they are deeply in love and meant to be together.
 
Buffy and Angel. You can always tell how much they love each other because when ever they see or hear about each other they get twitchy. ::heart::
 
I think they were definitly soul mates. However after a while I didn't like there relationship too much. I like them both better after Angel left. Before that they were too focused on each other and it was boring like some other people said. All Angel cared about was Buffy. And Angel was all Buffy saw of the future. They both grew as people way more after Angel went to L.A.
 
I actually don't think that Angel and Buffy were good together. Buffy sees everything in black and white. Her dating a vampire, even with a soul, was too hard for her. She doesn't understand that the world has shades of grey.

I think Buffy is better off alone. She can't have a good relationship, in my opinion, because she's too bossy and controlling.

I think that Angel would be better off with Cordelia. I think they understand each other better. Angel would evenbe good with Darla (as someone else posted, I'm not sure who) if Darla wasn't so evil.

But I think that Buffy and Angel were not some kind of wonderful tragic romance. I think that Angel was more in love with the idea of loving Buffy. She was everything he wasn't. I think he thought that helping her would be a sort of redemption.

I agree with EVERYTHING you said.
I like Angel and Cordelia together. They were just perfect for each other. Cordelia was always someone who could make Angel smile or even laugh. When Angel was with Buffy it was always crying and pain. Like some of you said their relationship got boring too. So i think that Cordelia and Angel are meant to be together.
 
Bangel got boring? It was the most thrilling relationship of the whole verse, it was full of surprises. For once, you didn't think Buffy would send an reensouled Angel to hell, but, she did. You expected that newly-returned-back-from-hell Angel would blame Buffy or worse, hurt her and the others, but, he didn't. While you are thinking they are meant for each other, live and love happily ever after, Angel leaves Buffy. Then, at a time least expected, Angel returns to help her with being seen to anyone but her, she learns it and goes to him, Angel becomes human, they make love, are happy, then Angel returns back the 'gift' and bargains that the memories of the day would be forgotten by Buffy. Then, he again visits her, gives her a hand, stays the whole night with her, consoles her. And at the end, he comes for the last time, gives her a kiss, proudly watches her as she kicks a--.
Cangel is on the other hand is a cliche, I did expect that there would be a love relation between them and prayed that it wouldn't. For once, it would be boring; a secretary falling in love with her boss? So what? Cordelia is boring when she falls in love with the 'hero', she is perfect with sidekicks ; Doyle, Xander, Wesley (BTVS Wesley). The most interesting part was when she slept with Angel's son. It was really exciting. Something was wrong but it wasn't because Connor was not handsome or caring or plain evil, but, yes, Cordelia was evil, otherwise she wouldn't have slept with Connor, would she? Oopps, did I say Cordy was evil, no no, she wasn't Cordelia, no, she was Cordelia but she wasn't herself, Cordy is never evil, she can be quite bitc-- sometimes but other than that... Tell you what, Cordelia in season 4 was bitc-- not evil. And sleeping with Connor? What would she do; sleep with Angel and make Angel lose his soul? If that happened, I would believe that she was evil. Other than that, I don't buy it. Season 4 was full of story holes.
 
I don't think Bangel is boring... I do think it's a juvenile ship though, it has it's moments but Angel acts 12 whenever he's near her, and that started to get on my nerves... after season one when they actually got together I didn't like him until I saw him on his show, before that he was my favorite character (at that point) Personally I find Spike/Dru more romantic and thrilling.

I find Spuffy fascinating but I don't really think I ship for them anymore.

Cordy/Angel had a good relationship and I actually think he loved her more and in ways he never loved Buffy. They were friends first and it grew into something more. She wasn't a secretary she was a hero like him, hello she got the stupid visions and became part demon so she could help him! I have read your posts and I know you disagree with that but they could have been my favorite couple not only in the buffyverse but possible of all time had they actually gotten together. CORDY was possessed by a power that be during season 4, you can't hold her responsible for anything done during that time.

I agree with you completely
i hated them together!!! they were so boring together until Angel lost his soul. I wanted them to break up from the begining i never saw any real chemistry well not compared to buffy and spike's. I do think that Buffy loved him but it was her first love....a high school love that you never forget but will never happen again
