I agree that a permanent Buffy/Faith relationship would be extremely unlikely to say the least, but a situation similar to "Something Blue" could trigger an arc that has all sort of possibilities. Just imagine Buffy waking up, looking around franticly, and moaning, "Oh, no! Not ANOTHER house!" then the aftermath... But I don't want them to be lovers, I just want them to be much more friendly toward each other than they are now.

In a world where Slayers are suddenly an army, Buffy and Faith are the only ones who realize first hand what it was like to face the night alone. That should form a powerful bond. Maybe not sexual (we both know who I put in that place, and also who you prefer there), but AT LEAST as close as any siblings, and maybe even more than that. It should be a bond similar to the five Mexican brother wrestlers. They both deserve someone that close.

Damn..I really wish Fuffy happened. They would have been, by far, the hottest couple in the series!

I love the vids of course for Fuffy and considered reading Fuffy fic, but I'm always very skeptical at reading very "out of character" fics. Though I did read one that just simply blew my mind at how real it could have been. Done properly, I think it would work. But of course it just remains in subtext now. Too bad.. 🙁

The kiss in Graduation Day was more of a motherly/sisterly "sleep well" kind of deal, nothing romantic about it. And of all things maybe an apology of sorts from Buffy, and a thank you for telling her what she needed to know about the Mayor.

Many reasons, none of them romantic. That would have been all kinds of creepy.

Wow, tough call. I think there is a ton of chemistry between them. A lot more than your everyday. I also wouldn't mind seeing something between them, but I don't know how far I want that something to go. I feel like Buffy would not reciprocate. Maybe Faith could kiss her and Buffy could you know, let her. Buffy could kiss her back. But I don't think I could see it going anywhere beyond a kiss. Notice the A, just a kiss.

I don't think either of them are gay. Faith likes to push peoples boundaries and shake things up a little but I think she does it just to get a reaction out of people. I think them two forming any kind of relationship would spoil things, much like Marissa turning gay in the OC (apologies for comparing Buffy the Vampire Slayer to the OC 🙂).

I don't think either of them are friends. We watched that much in Season 7. They were both designed as individual slayers. They were both trained that they were to ;be the only girl in every generation'. They are both programmed to be leaders, leaders are generally not friends. They can have a grudging respect for each other, but I don't think they'll ever sit on the phone chatting battle tactics. They just aren't built that way 🙂

Faith has stated in Season 8 shes straight and wouldn't even pretend to be anything else to get information out of Gigi.

Well, that's debatable. You can interpret that text however you want to; as we have discussed earlier in another thread, there is nowhere Faith states she is completely straight and would never feel any kind of attraction towards a woman. She is just stating that she won't get down and dirty with this person in particular.

I haven't read the comics, so my knowledge is a little limited, but throughout the show Faith gave the impression that she has never had any meaningful relationship. My point being is that I don't think she would turn down using her feminine ways to get information out of a guy. The fact that she won't do this to a woman kind of suggests that she doesn't like them the same way she likes men.
