Buffy and her Clothes...

Has anyone ever given any thought to even when Buffys in a rush, she still amazingly has time to get changed. I mean bloody hell, she must go through like 4 outfits a day. One for training, one for school or collage, one for patrolling, one for saving Dawn, one for 'seeing Spike'. What fresh Hell is this!
Also, like in Season 7, she running whilst wearing high heels, at full speed and jumping and landing on buses. How is that possible, then again how is the whole storyline possible, It's brilliant though, Right...

If you look closely, you'll notice that Buffy wore high heeled boots almost all of the time from Season 4 on, and I agree, how she managed to move around the way she did while wearing those things totally mystifies me.
 
I'm I the only woman on the planet that doesn't find it hard to run in high heels? Granted, I don't do it often, but I if the situation required.

But I agree about Buffy's wardrobe changes. Sometimes, it got a little much.

Nope you're not alone. When you really need to you find you can run in stilettos! haha
I can't even walk in heels, so don't ask me, haha.
It's probably more what goes with the outfit, than the practically of running/fighting in heels.
And as for her clothes, that's more to do with the acting point of view, aswell. I was in a show once, and we had to change outfits for every single scene. Usually wardrobe people don't think these things through. If that's not it, then I really don't know -.-

in the commentary they kept joking about her slipping it behind her back but had nowhere to put it.
 
In Get it Done she starts off in those lovely high-heeled boots and when she goes to the desert suddenly the heels have changed to flat (not to practical for walking in the sand I suppose) and then the stilettoes are back when she is chained up in the shadow men's cave. Handy to own boots with retractable heels🙂

On the topic of deserts, in Season five, in Intervention, Shes walking in the desert in a thick, long coat. How does she not overheat!

As strange as it may seem, it's not at all uncommon for deserts to be cold at night and in the early morning, which was probably why they had the camp fire for the First Slayer to dance around. It has to do with the almost total lack of water vapor, or humidity, and very little, if any cloud cover, both of which normally retain the sun's heat into the night. People have actually died of hypothermia in desert environments.

Well it's not impossible to run in high heels. Okay, maybe not a happy scenario, but if you have to... (I still have my pretty recent memory when I fell out of the car because of my high heels...ever since I've changed to flipflops with skirts/dresses instead of high heels)

As for the clothes change...I don't know about you people, but I also change my clothes that often a day. Is that not normal? I mean, temperature changes during the day, there's a difference in where I am...stuff like that...and if you have a lot of clothes it's totally possible and credible to change them that often.

I noticed that too! and she never wears the same thing twice.
 
If I had anything after me, I'd drop the shoes! I can run in heels, but I run better without them! Screw matching the jacket, and all, I want to live!
 
Also, every girl in the show ALWAYS has their make-up perfectly done, ALWAYS, whether it's going to bed, waking up, or even when dead (Buffy's makeup is perfect when she comes back from the dead in the coffin, but maybe that's because she was in heaven?)...Who knows..
 
since nobody could know she was dead... they buried her, right? so one of them would have done the makeup and chose that awful dress....

im always thinking that or on the lookout for that on any show. people on tv tend to have busy lives, otherwise why would we be so interested in watching them? 😛 so why, amidst any sort of crisis, would anyone stop and say 'wait! ill save the day in a sec; just let me change my clothes!'. i mean, the heels thing kind of makes sense in that situation. if you've got to save the day, you do it, heels or no heels. but purposely changing to heels? i dont know the practicality of that. to stab the bad guys with? 😉

hehe, im rambling. what was my point?
 
I have just been watching Season 2 and 5, have you noticed at most every funeral Buffy goes to, she wears white. Where is the respect in that! Does she have to like stand out constantly or whatever! Or is she happy that Ms Calender or Her mother are dead or what!
 
Can you count how many different colours of leather Trousers that girl has lol I notice them everytime i watch buffy its an obcession . Yellow , pink , red and black and i think even brown hehe x
 
does she get some sort of discount?

did anyone else notice how Buffy liked how Faith did her hair and kept it in the same style after they switched back bodies?
