Buffy and her Clothes...

On the subject of clothes, has anyone noticed that in "Once More With Feeling," Buffy leaves the Magic Shop to go to the Bronze wearing a white shirt, but miraculously arrives there wearing a red one?

I have just been watching Season 2 and 5, have you noticed at most every funeral Buffy goes to, she wears white. Where is the respect in that! Does she have to like stand out constantly or whatever! Or is she happy that Ms Calender or Her mother are dead or what!

Actually white is in both chinese, and other cultures a sign of grief(just as much as the black one.)

It's not a personal matter of fashion ans standing out.

i have noticed that! my assumption was that it was for the musical number, like how dawn's outfit changed. we just dont get to see it 'til the big reveal when she starts her song and takes off her coat.

Buffy must have a secret walk-in-closet, i think. I'm sort of jealous abou that, altough Im not a fan of leather trousers and look-at-my-bellybutton-shirts. ^^
Burt anyway. it's funny, if you start paying attention to those things, like the high heals and the mysterious outfit changes, you can't stop. Thanks, now I will be looking at Buffy's clothes instead of Spike 😉

i kind of liked the impracticality of her outfits. She often wore (seemingly) very expensive items...lots of leather, nice tops and so forth. And I think the stilettos/boots/heals part really worked for the butt kicking she had to do...you can do a lot more harm kicking someone with a 3 inch heal than you can w/ a rubber soled sneaker, y'know?!

If she's aiming her high kicks just right and makes sure the heels are wooden, those shoes could work as a valid stake replacement, lol!

That's an awewome idea! Of course, she'd have to wear like 5 inch heels though!
