Does anyone else wish that buffy would have found out that spike was alive? :unlove: i love to see reactions and this would have been so good!! I was really disapointed when spike and angel went to her house in Italy and she wasn't there and she didnt find out that he was alive again ::uh:: 🙁🙁
 
Of course! That's why season 8 is a good thing. there might be season 9, so maybe then Buffy and Spike will reunite. I'm wishing that.
 
It would've been nice. I have a feeling that we'll never get to see it or experience that moment though.
 
A part of me wishes I could have seen it but on the other hand I don't want to be disappointed...so if it never happens I can just pretend whatever I wanted to have happen actually did!
 
Yeah it sucks that SMG wasn't available for when they needed her 🙁 Joss does write well for comics though, it might be almost as good as if it was filmed.

Comics are great - I think this is just the next best thing as another season personally - as long as the comics are going to be readily available for us "true believers"...sorry that was corny.

But Spike and Buffy? Well, as I'm a Bangel fan, I can't necessarily go with that. And if Spike or Angel lived after the end of Season 5 (Angel) there had better be an amazing recap, because come on...that's just crazy.
 
as much as i would love to see Buffy and Spike live happily ever after, i have a feeling we're never gonna see that in any medium.
Joss doesn't like Buffy to be happy. he keeps making things happen in her life where true happiness is just out of her grasp. like having to kill Angel just after he got his soul back, losing Riley, being pulled out of Heaven, losing Spike after admitting she loved him.
but he explained WHY he does that...she's cookie dough! 😉
 
Personally I'd be happy if she found happiness on her own, as cookie dough. I'd prolly want to see her happily together forever with Angel more then Spike.. depending on circumstances, but can't see it happening for good either.
 
that would be very fun. i was looking forward to seeing buffy again in S5 of angel but noooo....they gave us the mop....(aka Gellar's double)
 
Yeah also Sarah was supposed to come back in season 5 of Angel for the 100th episode but she wasn't available so charisma did it instead. 🙁
