I just thought of something today... I really wish we'd gotten a scene in a crossover where Buffy got to see Wes after he joined the AI team. I think it would have been very satisfying for Wesley fans for Buffy to see that Wes turned into quite a great addition to the AI team, and maybe apologize to him for treating him with so little respect when he was in Sunnydale. It would have been nice for Buffy to see how far he had come.

Sure! Great thought
Also having Wesley realize how far he had come since Sunnydale would have been good for his character. I definitely would have liked to have seen more crossovers between AtS and BtVS, having Angel, Cordy and Wes show for Xander and Anya's wedding would have been pretty cool, especially if they had gotten married(rather then Xander leaving Anya at the alter). I think the Scoobies would have been both shocked and impressed with how far both Cordy and Wes had come. Also having the Scoobies and Angel Inc team up to stop a big bad would have been worth watching as well.

I would have loved this! That's a cool idea. I bet she would have treated him a lot like she did in Buffy Season 3, but then realize how far he had some and back off a bit. She'd hopefully end up respecting him a lot more.

maybe even called him if she needed watcher type advice after Giles leaves in ssn 6
This is one of a few thing that would have been great to find out, but now it's definetly too late for that! I love those questions what could have been if...

LOL No, definitely not as a ship!! I just wish Buffy would have gotten to see that Wesley wasn't always a loser.

A very cool idea, one of the biggest mistakes ever made in the Buffyverse was not doing enough crossovers. I understand wanting to establish both shows...but who wouldn't want to see some more interaction? Giles and Wesley having a conversation, Gunn and Xander realizing how similar they are, etc

I assume it was hard to arrange, when they ended up in different networks.
While I don't think Buffy has anything to apologize for, he was a jerk at the time and was working for a evil organisation, I would love for the rest of the scoobies to meet the new Wesley. Willow was too calm about it, there wasn't a strong enough "Wow, you've changed" reaction from her. I would love for Giles, Xander and Buffy to see the new Wesley when he's confident and lethal.

As I've said before, BtVS Wesley is probably my least favorite character in the entire Whedonverse, while AtS Wesley is possibly my favorite. I really dislike BtVS Wesley.

Willow should have freaked and wondered what demon inhabited his body. The change was that dramatic.

I'd of like that, i think a lot of people would have, as is the majority vote on here lol.

I'm not sure if Buffy would have apologized as such, i think she very much ment what she said to him, and in a way i think Wes would have agreed with her,and if he could he probably would have changed a lot of things with regards to the choices/actions he did at the time.

BUT i think they would have put it firmly behind them and became friends, probably not close friends, or even great friends, but i think they would certainly leave the past in the past and start fresh.

While I don't think Buffy has anything to apologize for, ...

You seriously don't think Buffy was a bitch to him? She hated him from day 1 without ever giving him any kind of chance. It's true that he was pompous and arrogant a lot, but as we saw in "Angel", there was a lot more to Wes than just some bumbling idiot. I wish Buffy would have gotten to see this and apologize for never giving him a real chance.

I think that your right for the most part about Buffy hating Wes from day one, on the other hand though Wes never really tried to earn her respect, just kind of tried to insert himself as an authority figure without any attempts to learn who she is, nor did he really ever try to get any advice from Giles or anyone else about how to manage a real Slayer. It also doesn't help that Wes continually undermines himself in various ways, starting with how he handles Balthazar (I think that's the demons name) and then how he handles Faith.

However, that being said, I do think that it would have been great for both characters (Buffy and Wesley) to meet after Wes grows so much on Angel. After all, Faith was very impressed with the new and improved Wesley, when he visits her in Salvage. I can't help thinking that Buffy would be quite impressed with the changes in Wesley.

I don't want to post any spoilers (because I have yet to see/read the comic books after the end of "Buffy" and "Angel"), but I wonder if any crossovers like this had occurred in the comic books/graphic novels?

I think she was a bitch, yes. But I don't think he deserved any better at the time. But I should point out that I need a re-watch of season 3 with this in mind to be certain that she didn't go to far. Considering the Crutimanteum-whatsit, I doubt it. She didn't owe him anything.
