Buffy - Angel viewing order

I'm starting season 4 of my Buffy rewatch, and watched The Freshman, and then watched the series premiere of AtS today.

Does anyone know of a definitive guide to the viewing order for the two shows? I've seen various versions on line but would trust a recommendation from someone here. I'm not interested in minimizing disk switching, as some of the guides seem to do.

Personally I would watch it the way it aired.

The episodes aired on the same nights, and I believe that Buffy aired first.

After this season, I don't think it's necessarily that important to view them together, since crossovers were less frequent (esp after the network split). When I watched Buffy s7 & Angel s4, I didn't alternate every episode, I lumped them together in arcs, basically just for the Faith storyline.
