Hi everyone! I'm sure this has been asked before but I was wondering how people re-watch Buffy/Angel. I've been re-watching Buffy and am on season 4 episode 3. I realized I could start watching Angel now too. Do you switch back and forth between shows? Do you watch all of Buffy and then watch all of Angel? What's the best way to watch in your opinion? Or maybe it doesn't matter🙂

The last few times I have watched through Buffy I have watched through Angel as well. I have a list of when to watch each episode so all the crossovers and arcs make sense. It is good to do, but admittedly it does take longer and you do have to keep track of lots of different stories all going on at once in the same universe. I have enjoyed doing it that way though, and can definitely recommend it.

I watch Buffy on syfy during the week...so whatever is on is good for me...hoping to do a re-watch complete, with a mate later this year. Then we shall watch Buffy then Angel.. probably..
I use to re-watch both series at one episode a day for a really long time, and as soon as I finished I'd start over again. I did that for a few years, rarely ever missing a day. Now though, I tend to watch just a random episode in no specific order once in while. Because I know the serie so well, I tend to just go by mood instead and watch whatever episode I'm feeling at the moment (which tends to mean I've seen some episode quite more than others).
Now, it's been a while though since I've done a full re-watch, so it's now on my to-do list.

Angel's Buddy
It depends really.
When I wasn't working for a few months last year I watched Angel all the way through (few episodes each day), likewise with Buffy, but when ever I have a chance now I usually watch my favorite episodes from each season,rather than a complete re-watch. I might do it over the winter period as I should get a chance.

Personally I prefer watching the shows through and through when I rewatch. Buffy 1-5 (sometimes skip 6-7) and Angel 1-5. I have tried watching the shows together from Btvs s4 and on but I mostly find it annoying and prefer to keep 'the flow' of one show before I get into the mood of the other. 🙂
