This had a very 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer XBOX Game' feel to it, which was awesome, reminded me of the dialogue in that. Ah, that should have been picked up by a network. No justice.

I can't stop watching this. It's so good. It reminds me of Gargoyles, my favorite cartoon growing up. Why are good cartoons like this not picked up but crappy ones are? I love the part where Buffy is twirling the stake and it hits her in the face. LOL I wish Joss would at least put this on a blog or something like he did with Dr. what's his face. It would get a lot of views.

For 2 years we're saying why can't we get a peak at that, and then all of a sudden, one Saturday morning there it is. What a mystery! Where did it come from. Was it a leak. Did the Snerd sneak it from somewhere.
Whatever, though...maybe the bigger mystery is why couldn't a network be found to run with that. It's great.
I suggest buying lots of Dr. Horrible Itunes, and DVDs. If Joss can find a way to monetize internet releases, maybe he can just tell the networks to go screw themselves, and air stuff like Buffy animated via the internet.

Which is to say, in comparison, like night and day. Just sayin'.
Because the subject matter is a little much for Saturday morning fare. Could it have pulled off a prime time viewership? I don't know. This would have been ok on something like Adult Swim, but syndicated for the kiddies? Not likely.
Here, I suspect, is the real reason it "suddenly appeared" one Saturday morning - plausible deniability. How will the test youtube audience receive it? Lots of views? Positive comments?
What will the Buffy community think?

Thanks 🙂 I think it was awesome! 😀 I don't know about the "chick who voiced Buffy in Chaos Bleeds" but about Buffy's voice.. Am i the only one who thinks it was really weird? I mean, i think that voice is not even close to the "real buffy's voice".. but maybe it's just me.. =/

Totally. This could have struck a balance, had big crossover appeal. I hope we get some kind of online, animated webisodes, someday...
Or how about a direct-to-video animated feature? DC has done really well with their recent DVD movies.

Ya we wouldnt have made that big of a deal about it since we pretty much know where it fits. Its in its own continuity, where we see Dawn already established as Buffys lil sister.
Maybe some monks had another key that they made into this Buffy animated pitch to hide it from the evil hell goddess who wants it to return home...
But I want Joss to seriously try to get this thing up and running again. I know they tried a few times after it was rejected. But with Buffy S8 being such a hit, I think there is someone who would see the market DTV would have.
