Buffy's Bond Bid




Halle Berry's aim to become the first female James Bond has been challenged - by none other than Sarah Michelle Gellar.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Gellar has revealed that she is keen to join the 'Q' of feisty females wanting a licence to kill once current incumbent Pierce Brosnan gives up the famous role.

The newlywed told IMDB, "I want to see more women action stars. I don't see why James Bond has to be a man all the time. When Pierce Brosnan retires I'm going to be the next Bond."

A few years ago, everyone's favourite ex-librarian, Tony Head, was also briefly in the running to become the world's most famous secret agent.

I personally think that Bond would be a great role for Sarah! I mean we know that she can kick ass and look good doing it and what better way to continue kicking ass and looking good but as a female version of James Bond?

And Giles as James Bond? I would pay good money for that! He would've been great!

as a james bond fan,i can say that it will be stupid having a woman as james bond,especialy after all this time of it being a man.And once pierce brosnan is finished,their choosing another man,i've read it in a newsletter.
 
I agree & I'm a woman! Maybe there could be a spin off with another agent that is a woman, but 007 is a man & his name is Bond, James Bond!!

Plus, James Bond is British (apart from that one time he was Australian!! Lol!) so would she put on a British accent?
