Buffy BBC2 Uncut

Well after S7 has now finished on BBC2, and featuring heavy cutage, they have announced it will be returning in "late night uncut weekly" appearances next year.

The exact date is Friday January 16th

What exactly did they cut?
I forgot to watch it, again, but my friend said they cut loads.

I don't know exactly what was cut but each 45 minute ep was only lasting about 40-42 minutes on the Beeb. They will have cut anything involving stabbing, slicing, dicing, cutting human characters for deffo - those are the ones I picked up from watching. Looks like I'll have to tape 'em all again - it's a dirty job...🙂

Note for US readers - there are no commercials on BBC hence your hour-long shows only last 45 mins on average. "24" shoulda been called "18" on the BBC 😉

A lot of W/K was cut in Touched, Xanders (lets call it 'morning glory') from post-potential dreaming, Anya saying "Why cant you masturbate like the rest of us", Anya's slicing, Amanda's death, Caleb's face when he 're-emerges' at the start of Chosen (instead have a jumped zoom in on Buffy) to even Willow mentioning Kennedy's tounge piercing!

I have heard that they cut out alot of stuff from Buffy, glad they dont do that in the US(as if we dont have enough restrictions as is)

And I would love for their to be no commercials.

It certainly felt like it, but I can't be certain about that (there seemed to me to be cuts in "Showtime" and "Chosen" for example) - but I don't think it was censored as much as the recent BBC2 showing.

I am feeling the whole rewatching of S7 (Uncut) if I do not own the boxsets by then.
