Post your top ten favorite shows. Your number 1 show gets 10 points, your number 2 show gets 9 points....and so on and so forth and when everyone is done, we can add up the points and see the most popular choices. Should be good for people looking for new things to watch. And just to clarify, by Joss Whedon Shows, I just mean Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse. I know he's done episodes for other shows, but he wasn't the main creative force behind them.

Okay, my list.

1. LOST
2. Arrested Development
3. 24
4. The Sopranos
5. Seinfeld
6. Curb Your Enthusiasm
7. Chuck
8. 30 Rock
9. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
10. The Office (U.S.)

Of the current shows on tv, I try not to miss "Burn Notice," "Castle," and "Supernatural," though at the moment only "Burn Notice" is showing new episodes. Other than that, I usually watch the Discovery, History, of Science channels.

Revolver agrees: It doesn't have to be just current tv shows

If we're allowed to include shows no longer current, then (And I'll try to keep the list to shows that will be relatively current):

The original "Star Trek" as well as all of its descendants and spinoffs
"Highlander"
"Dark Angel"
"The Dresden Files"
"Tarzan" (the original one with Ron Ely, the most accurate Tarzan of all time, but he should have drowned Jai in the first episode!)
"Daniel Boone" (Davy Crockett recycled, complete with Fess Parker)
"The Twilight Zone"
"Night Gallery"
"The Outer Limits"
(and going back to my youth, I'll just say, all of the old Warner Bros. Westerns and Mysteries, as well as those classic westerns, "Gunsmoke," "Have Gun, Will Travel," "Wanted, Dead Or Alive," and, of course, "Bonanza.")

(Anything much further back than that, you'll just have to wonder about, but just bear in mind, I was around when the tv only had 3 channels)

Karma for every single one of those!
So favourites it is. That means that some shows that might be "better" like Dexter, Lost and BSG don't make the list. Those are great shows but it's just not something I see myself watching 10 times. Shows like House, NCIS, Supernatural, HIMYM and The big bang theory also had to be skipped. Maybe they'll get a spot in the future. This is the shows I can watch over and over again. And I'll guarantee that I'll change my mind more than a few times before the day is over and I've most certainly forgot a show or five but here goes.

1. The west wing "“ Shouldn't be a surprise. Sadly people don't seem willing to give it a chance. To have seen random episodes don't make it justice. Watch it from the start.
2. Friends "“ Such a boring choice but what can you do?
3. Bones "“ Maybe not the "best" but sure a big favourite.
4. Scrubs "“ Might have lost a little in the later seasons but one show I easily can watch over and over again.
5. Freaks and Geeks "“ Just watch it already.
6. Veronica Mars "“ Might feel like a teenage thing but don't get fooled.
7. 24 "“ All seasons might not be masterpieces but as a whole it's still great.
8. Spin city "“ The Michael J Fox years.
9. Monk "“ I really haven't watched this enough so I might be wrong to mention it. But it deserves a mentioning so there you go.
10. Alias "“ Absolutely not a bad show but neither "the geatest show ever made". Enjoyable and I grow attached to the characters, both good and bad.
