Welcome to the first ever Buffy-Boards Icon Contest! I know, I know, you're all really confused right now, huh? Okay, so, let me explain.
Basically, it's exactly as the title suggests, this is a contest featuring nothing but ICONS. Y'all know what icons are, right? No? Okay, here are some examples made by me:
Good, moving on.
This contest will be run by myself, Lyri, and HisMrs, and will run basically every five weeks.
One week for sign-ups, and three weeks after that for you to get all your icons done, and one week for the polls.
Because, let me tell you, it's a LOT of icons, lol.
Each round will consist of five different themes, and all contestants must make five different icons to fit each of those themes.
So that's twenty-five icons per round from each contestant.
Everyone with me so far? Excellent.
At the end of each round, six different polls will go up. One poll for each theme, and one poll for overall artist of that round. The polls will stay open for one week.
First, second and third place from each poll will receive banners by either myself or HisMrs (depending on who's round it is) and points for their House. (As of this posting, we have yet to decide how many points will be awarded.) The overall artist for each round will also get House Points, and they will also be able to choose one theme for the next round.
So, before I go ahead and open the sign-ups we have a few rules for you:
Okay, so, now that everyone's listened to me ramble on for a while, I'm going to declare the sign-ups officially open!
Please post here if you would like to sign-up for this contest. This thread will stay open for one week, and then next Sunday, I will post the first five themes in a new thread. You'll have three weeks from next Sunday to make your icons.

- All entries must conform to icon size - 100px by 100px.
- Subjects for your icons must be limited to the Jossverse - Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly/Serenity, Dollhouse and Dr. Horrible.
- All icons must be made for this contest - no re-suing old icons.
- No animated icons - this is a STILLS contest.
- And this should go without saying, but make sure you enter your OWN WORK. Theft will not be tolerated.
