Buffy Boards Off Google

For almost a week now, when I Google Buffy Boards, NOTHING comes up. I get Buffy Forums and a Buffy Boards Reddit, but, NO Buffy Boards. I have to enter buffy-boards.com to get to the site.

Does anyone know what is happening?

Time for the admin to do a SEO (search engine optimization) course and change a few keywords around.
 
buffy boards comes up #1 on chrome with the search term "buffy boards"
 
I usually forget that this is the internet. Its not like other internet.
 
Maybe this is Google's not so subtle way of letting forum owners know they need to pay 'toll' 😉

Back to #1 on mine. Guess Buffy da mod must've paid her monthly protection fee 😉
 
Search engines where you pay to use them, rather than being ad supported, seem to becoming more popular, given that such as Google are becoming utter rubbish to use.
 
I use DuckDuckGo (whose results are same as Bing, but privacy-minded and customizable interface) and I get this site right at top.

"buffy forums" returns this site as second result.
"buffy boards" returns this site as top result.

If Google is giving you weird results, try DuckDuckGo or Mojeek.

Very often even DDG, using Bing's crawler, gives me unsatisfactory results. So I sometimes will search on Mojeek, which uses its own original crawler and is designed to help find lesser known sites and results that actually use your search terms rather than ignoring them as many modern engines often do now. The result is you get more obscure stuff, but it's more like Google in the 2000s where you get what you actually asked for.
