As many of you will know already we have created two limited addition BB Christmas decorations to add to our BB Store, designed by the forever wonderful Lyri. We have marked the decorations up a couple of dollars in the hope we can raise some money for charity and for the boards themselves.

Which charity we support is being determined as we speak, voting is taking place in the Houses and then the final four choices will go to a board wide vote.

This is for a great cause folks so let the ordering commence! Your Christmas tree just won't be the same without Buffy-Boards originals😉

Aww, awesome they're both so pretty! I know we haven't even decided on the charity yet but will there be some kind of cutoff date before you guys donate the funds, cause I'd like to make sure to buy mine in time... you know after I recover from the rent check I wrote today 🙂
 
Just to re-iterate. Normally the store items are sold at cost, with no money coming to the board from those purchases. We are going to be offering the two ornaments for a limited time, with their price marked up $2 each from their cost.

The intention is to do this as a fund raiser for the board and for a charity to be decided upon by the board membership. If we raise enough money, we'd like to split the proceeds in half, and donate half to the charity and use half for the board. On the chance that we don't raise very much money it will all go to the charity.

Possible uses for the board portion of the funds are to pay for a premium shop so we are able to offer more than one design on each store item (to offer more selection) and prizes for various board contests.

As always, please only buy items if you are financially able, and please do not feel that you are required to buy anything.

We have not yet decided on a hard date but we will definitely give several weeks warning.

Brilliant work Kean and Lyri! I will definitely be getting a couple of these as soon as my Mastercard debit card arrives!

(And will also be buying other gear from the store... my housemates are going to be so scared by everything arriving at once!)
 
Hey, for any non-US members, wait until tomorrow (Dec 5) to order anything because apparently some international shipping levels are going to be going down on that day (I don't know to what, but hey, every little bit counts) 🙂

I like the snowflake, very simple yet elegant, but the lights hanging off of the logo made me smile. In fact, that was darn clever.
 
I may have to indulge in buying the little bear for Kris. I mean a child can't have TOO many cuddly toys right? And the snowflake badge really appeals to the Snowflake Woman in me, haha.
 
I like this idea, will order both.
Maybe someone can get a christmas gift from me after all... 🙂

I LOVE them! Looks like I'm going to have to buy myself at least one present this year now.....darn you!

They are really beautiful. I love the one with the lights the best, but you guys should know by now how much i love everything colorful and shiny! That's why it's my fave is the colors and the prettiness!
