Buffy Chosen Collection

I'm thinking of buying the Buffy Chosen Collection cos I need to replace my Buffy DVDs. I know this collection is region 1 and wasn't released here so I was wondering does anyone have it and what are the extras like?

I bought the Chosen Collection because I had all the seasons on VHS and I wanted to upgrade, so I don't know what the extras are like on the normal boxsets, but I don't think there's much of a difference.

I absolutely LOVE my Chosen collection. I own all of the Buffy seasons on DVD and my hubby still bought me the Chosen collection. It's beautiful. As for extras that aren't present on the individual DVD collections:

The Region 1 Buffy 40-disc boxed set includes an extra disc (the 40th) with all-new interviews, including a round table discussion that was recorded in August 2005. It features participation from Joss Whedon, Marti Noxon, Jane Espenson, and such actors as Charisma Carpenter, Nicholas Brendon and Emma Caulfield. It also comes with a letter from Joss Whedon.

The Chosen collection is a wonderful way to enjoy Buffy! How come you need to replace your DVDs..did you wear them out? 😀 😀 Or just move? 🙂

i love the "interview" extra with joss and the gang! that is definitely worth paying for the chosen collection (not to mention 144 episodes of buffy).

i highly recommend buying it.

I´d love to have the Chosen collection but since it doesn´t have swedish subtitles I´ve decided against it. I do have the 40th disc (so to speak) on my computer and it´s great!

Well sure it would be nice to have, but I guess it's pretty expensive. And I for one don't have the money (well or I do have the money, I just need it to buy other stuff like...food)
So you have to think about it if you're willing to invest the money I guess. I'm sure it's great though.

ya it is really great to have ( I have both the original dvd release and collection). But the only change in extras is the extra disc. Other then that, its all the same except for packaging. But still worth it. Oh and sometimes Amazon does specials so I would look out for that. I got mine from there for $99.

I'm kind of disappointed with what I've heard of the Chosen Collection. This was their chance to empty out the vault and give us ravenous fans every scrap of footage they had, and they didn't do it. I'm not sure I want to shell out that much more money for a single disc with a few more features on it.

ya thats true but not that many "collections" do that for shows anyway so it wasnt that big of a surprise.
