You Can Call Me Ash
At 8am this morning I got a knock on the door. At first I thought it was my brothers friends calling for him for school but then I looked out the window and it was a parceline van. I quickly ran downstairs, grabbing a shirt on the way, and turns out my brother was still in. Anyway he gave me the package and I was so happy.
First impressions: Damn its heavier than I thought and the packaging cardboard box was difficult but I perservered.
Anyway, I finally got it out of its hiding and here it is (BTW there is flash glare or whatever you wanna call it in all these pics, sorry):
I am 07,435/10,000 wonder who got number 1?
I opened the plastic wrap and then took the top off and was presented with this:
Now when I saw that on the internet I thought it was going to be lots of trays that slide out, so I bought some protective CD sleeves so I guess I'll be returning those. What they are are almost like little books for each seasons, the next few pics should explain:
And all of them together (find the one thats out of place, go on, I dares ya!):
Along with all the DVD goodness you get a book explaining all the episodes, like you get with the normal season DVDs. But at the very front there is a list of Joss Whedon's favourite episodes. I only glanced it but can remember The Pack and The Wish being on there for their darkness.
And finally, the personalised letter. It was hidden behind the Fox DVD promo thing and comes in an envelope. I was very careful with opening the envelope but they sealed it with Super Strong Glue I think so the envelope is a wee bit ripped at the back.
And the letter? Well tough, its mine 😛 It comes on a little A5 page, with the "Mutant Enemy" logo and monster at the top and just the letter underneath. The printing quality of the image is average so maybe he mass-printed at home. But anyway it comes signed by Joss, in pen! Yay.
Im going to go watch Welcome to the Hellmouth before college 😀
