Buffy convention Sunnydale High June '24!

Anyone attending this awesome event?? There's a convention going on June 15 '24 in Torrence, CA at the actual High school that served at the filming location of Sunnydale High!! Cast members that will be there include Clare Kramer (Glory) Juliet Landau (Drusilla) and Julie Benz (Darla)!! There's also a super exclusive tour of the actual Buffy house and a QA with the owner of the house in the backyard who lived there during the entire 7 seasons of filming!! The lucky winners of this tour are chosen by lottery. This sounds like it will be so much fun!!! Would love to know if anyone is going!!
 
Someone was living in that house during filming? I hoped they got paid a lot!

Especially given how many times the place got trashed.

They did live in the house for the entire 7 seasons! However, only exterior shots of the house and yard were used, the inside of the house that was constantly trashed was a set that was built on a sound stage!
I wish I was! I'm pretty sure they are also doing signings of a new buffy makeup pallet.. incredibly jealous of anyone whos going. I cant wait for the pics!

For fans of all-things Sunnydale, Vampyre Cosmetics will soon be releasing its official Disney-licensed Buffy the Vampire Slayer makeup collection at the SoCal-based convention, Hellmouth Con, with the help of Buffy cast members Juliet Landau and Julie Benz.

Landau and Benz, who played legendary vampires Drusilla and Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, are endorsing the makeup line and will be appearing at Hellmouth Con to officially kick off the line’s launch. Autograph sessions will be available, as well.

Hellmouth Con is hosted by Fandom Charities Inc. and will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Torrance High School, the filming location for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Fandom Charities is planning an entire weekend of festivities, ranging from trivia nights to karaoke, but the main convention will take place on June 15th.

In advance of the convention, Landau, Benz, and photographer Deverill Weekes got into the spirit with a photo shoot featuring the actresses dressed as their vampiric counterparts and wearing makeup from the new line by Vampire Cosmetics.

I would love to attend this. sadly I'm not in the US this summer. I love Juliet Landau and would love to meet her. Sighs.

I think a few of the season 1 episodes were filmed in the house, but i could be wrong. As soon as they realized the series was going to be ongoing they'd have had to create a 'real' (fake) Buffy bedroom and interior that was true to BUFFY, not 1630 Revello (or whatever the actual address is)
