Buffy cover #11

Wow, the season 11 cover looks unbelievably cool. Okay, I'm back from comic geek mode. You know I had never really read comics before (except like when I was little of course) and this is the only one that I've ever been like really 'must get the next one' and its made all the better by the amazing cover art- gets me all excited for the next issue haha. And this one just looks doubly great and with the summary as well- 11 sounds really amazing.

I check there pretty much daily. It's just a huge pile of links about all Joss projects and anyone who has something to do with him - even people who only appeared in one episode of one of his shows.

Frequent paparazzi photos of Sarah Michelle Gellar and other cast members out and about, plus comic reviews and interviews and stuff.

Joss has written a lot of blogs while on strike - I read them on whedon.info and they're funny! I like his list of movies he would be writing if he wasn't on strike:

Oh right, the cover. Yes it still looks excellent and very intriguing.
 
The title of this issue made me immediately think back to the first one.

Xander: I think it's a frown turned upside down. And then turned upside down again.
Buffy: So you think it's a frown.
Xander: Guy with a monocle frowning.
Buffy: You're a terrible watcher.
Xander: I'm not a watcher.
Buffy: Well, clearly.
Xander: Don't call me a watcher. And you need to talk to Dawn.
Buffy: I think it's a beautiful sunset.

They're the sneakiest! I think I might re-read what we have of season 8 so far..I know I've missed stuff...they definitely keep us on out toes!
