Crown Promenade

Crown Promenade is located at 8 Whiteman Street in Southbank, just minutes from the CBD. Crown is a short walk along the riverside from Melbourne's main railway stations, Flinders Street and Spencer Street Stations, and is easily accessed by the many trams and buses that travel through this precinct.
With its sweeping view of the city skyline, the Promenade Room is located on Level 2, in Crown's brand new Crown Promenade Hotel.
Public Transport
Melbourne is a City blessed with an enviable public transport system which makes access to Crown Promenade via tram, train, taxi or private car not only easy and flexible but also enjoyable.
Trams
There are two tram stops outside Crown Promenade and Crown Towers on Queensbridge Street. Tram No's 12, 96 and 109 run past Crown. Trams run every 6-8 minutes during peak times, 7.00am - 9.00am and 4.00pm - 6.00pm and every 10-12 minutes between 9.00am and 4.00pm.
Trains
The Spencer Street Station is just a short stroll from the Crown Conference Centre. The Dandenong, Frankston, Belgrave, Lilydale and Sandringham lines run every 15 minutes and St Albans, Williamstown, Werribee, Upfield, Epping and Eltham run every 20 minutes.
Taxis
Taxi ranks are located at the Crown Conference Centre and as well as all major hotels, Crown Entertainment Complex and Spencer and Flinders Street Stations.
Car Parking
The superb location of the Crown Conference Centre means it is easily accessed by the City's roadways and freeways. The new City Link connects the Centre with the Airport in just 20 minutes. The Centre is also serviced by six parking areas suitable for public, exhibitor and bus parking with additional parking available within walking distance of the Centre.

Accessibility
At the Crown Conference Centre there are extensive facilities for guests with disabilities. Parking for those with disabilities is conveniently provided in both the Multi-level and basement car parks.
Disabled car parking bays are conveniently located in the vicinity of the car park entrance lobbies. The bays can be found at both levels of the Crown Car Park, as well as Mezzanine B, Level 1, and Level 4 of the Crown Multi-Level Car Park.
Upon entry to the car park, signs provide direction to the entrance lobbies. Look for the bays that have been specifically designed for use by guests with disabilities. These car parking bays have blue columns for easy identification.
Elevators are available for access to all floors. Accessible toilet facilities are available on all levels.
Public telephones are conveniently placed within the complex which includes multi access telephones. TTY telephone facilities are available in several locations. These locations can be identified through the information directories.

Ahh, the convention: This will feature James Marsters live on stage, a full days activities to keep you occupied and many opportunities to purchase rare collectibles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel; be involved with live forum discussions, watch the official Australian premiere screening of Amber Benson's Chance [Saturday] and previously unseen episodes of the current season of Angel and much, much more! And of course the highlight of the day, James will be available on stage to answer your questions and chat about life and death in the Buffyverse, and then you will have the chance to meet James and gain the much sought after autograph! A special photography session will also be available to provide for you that quintessential memento of this exceptional weekend "“ a photo of you and James together!

Conditions:Convention Rules
NO VIDEO [tape or digital] OR AUDIO taping of VIP Guest's appearance.
Anyone found video/audio taping will be asked to cease doing so. If you continue to tape, you will be asked to leave the venue.
Please limit photographs of the guests to the first few minutes after they arrive on stage and at the end of their talk.
Continuous camera flashes make it hard for the guests to see you when you ask questions.
If you have a question for the guest please come to the microphone and ask your question clearly. While the VIP Guest will try to answer all questions, please be mindful that any personal questions or inappropriate questions will be disallowed by Tabula Rasa Events or the VIP Guest directly.
The Autograph and Photograph Policy will be detailed on various signs around the convention area as well as on the site "“ www.buffydownunder.com "“ please read these policies carefully as the rules for this convention are slightly varied from past events.
Ticket & Seating Information
Entry to the venue will be through Whiteman Street, please use the stairs in the hotel lobby to get to the auditorium.
All tickets will be available for collection from the Registration Desk on the day of the convention.
Just let the staff on the desk know your name and they will find your ticket envelope.
If you have booked as part of a group, would the person who booked the tickets please collect all the tickets.
Tickets will be for sale at a cost of $220.00 at the door, only if available [door sales will be highly unlikely as this event is most certain to sell out.]
Your tickets have a Row and Seat number on them. These are your seat allocations. Our staff in the Auditorium will help you find your seat.
Tickets must be displayed at all times whilst in the convention venue.
Please do not lose your ticket, as this gives your access to the convention and to the autograph session. If you lose your ticket, our security staff may prevent you from re-entering the auditorium.
Seating allocations have been made on a first come-first served basis.
As you will be called for your autograph opportunity by row, you will need to retain your ticket all day.
Autograph Policy
Due to time restraints and contractual obligations, the VIP Guest will only be able to sign one [non-personalised] autograph for each attendee. This is will ensure that all attendees will have the opportunity to receive an autograph.
The only items permitted to be signed will be a photograph purchased from the photo table in the signing room - or - any specialised item of your own [charged at $22]. Any personal item you wish to be signed will be in lieu of the photograph and must be approved by Tabula Rasa Events management prior to the signings session.
Due to time restraints and contractual obligations, the VIP Guest will not be posing for photographs during the autograph session, photographs with the VIP Guest will only be available during the Photograph Session [see Photograph Session Policy] "“ vouchers for this session are able to be purchased at the time of the autograph session from the photo table.
Photograph Session Policy
The VIP Guest will be posing for photographs with attendees in a separate Photography Session "“ all photographs will be taken by Tabula Rasa Events' own professional photographer. Photographs taken with your own camera at this session only are not permitted.
The VIP Guest will pose with either a single person or a maximum of two people per photograph. Any group photos of more than two people will not be permitted.
All photographs will be printed to an 8x10" size and mailed to the recipients after the convention weekend.
General Photograph Policy
You may take photographs of the VIP Guest at the beginning and end of their talks on stage in the main auditorium. Once you have taken your photos at the beginning of the session, please stop to allow him to talk without being blinded by continual flashes.

Auction lots will be on display at the rear of the auditorium for inspection prior to the auction
during the auction [only] feel free to move to the unoccupied seats in the front rows
please make your bid loud and clear so that you can be heard on stage
winning bidders will be identified by their ticket number which will be requested by the auctioneer
please see the staff at the auction desk as soon as you have won your item
remember that you won't receive your item until it is paid for
Gifts for VIP Guests
Any gifts to be presented on stage must be given to a member of the Tabula Rasa Events staff for approval.
No personal presentations will be allowed by convention attendees.
Gifts will either be given to the guest before they enter the staging area, or presented to them on behalf of the giver by the MC of the convention.
Any gifts to be presented to the VIP Guest at the Autograph or Photograph sessions personally by convention attendees, still must be shown to a of the Tabula Rasa Events staff for approval prior to giving of gift to the VIP Guest.
Weapons
Any weapons, real or not, are not permitted in any convention area. Replicas of other weapons [non reality based] are also not permitted [e.g. Staff Weapons, Light Sabres or Stakes]. There will be no exceptions to this policy. If you are found carrying any such replica weapons, Tabula Rasa Events staff will confiscate these items for the duration of the convention and returned to you at the conclusion of the event.
Breach
Any person found to be breaching the guidelines of this convention will be removed without hesitation and their entire convention schedule cancelled without refund. The management of Tabula Rasa Events will not hesitate to contact the police if the matter is deemed serious enough.
