In a interview, SMG said that while Angel drinks her blood, Buffy has a huuuuge orgasm and the censorship guys didn't even understood it...It changed the candid way I was watching the scene 😀

I always read that as the subtext, just as Buffy also orgasms when she's bitten/felt up by the Master. Kate seems to climax against her will when Angel forces himself upon her in The Shroud of Rahmon (love her succumbing to his will afterwards, tenderly stroking his bite marks on her neck at the affectionate memory). Cordy has a fatal 'pleasure moment' when vampWillow and vampXander bite her in The Wish and Buffy enjoys a huge orgasm when she's raped by the Shadowman's demon in 'Get it done'.

Now who can we ask about Buffy/Joyce and Dracula, how far Buffy and RJ went before Xander interrupted them (and what did they do when he left them alone again?), did Tania and Ivanova just have a sleepover or more and what about Ripley and the alien drone that carries her off in Joss' Alien 4?

Also, it was much more dramatic to have Angel almost kill her, then come bursting into the ER with her in his arms yelling that she needed an emergency transfusion, than it would have been to, for instance, have Giles standing by on the spot with the equipment for the transfusion.

Sure, that and the fact that the Scoobies would have never allowed it to happen, or at least would not have stood by and watched. I think they would've chosen Angel's death over that.

Buffy was far too willing to sacrifice Faith's life, in my opinion. It was very un-Buffy like.

I agree with others that the fight scene was fantastic, but there was lots of conflict here within Buffy's character with her willingness to kill Faith. She was human, after all, she had a soul.

That would also help to explain why later, in Season 5, Buffy has no qualms about killing members of the Order Of The Knights Of Byzantium. They weren't demons or vampires, but killing them was necessary in order to protect her sister

And yet she didn't kill Ben.

Am I the only one wondering how hot a Willow/Percy hook-up would've been? :giggle:

Am I a dummy for not realizing until JUST NOW that the handcuffs Buffy used on Faith during the big battle are most likely the ones Joyce and Giles used in Band Candy?
