Buffy ep by ep; LIVING CONDITIONS

Its definitely not my favorite episode but I dont hate it. Kathy was annoying as all hell but Buffy is so funny in this episode. I love the part when she's drinking from the milk. Season 4 has soo many hilarious episodes. I usually pick from season 4 when I want to watch a fun episode.

Oh and as for the where's Dawn comment from the original post, it's still the fourth season. Dawn hasn't been introduced yet. Not until the very end of Buffy vs. Dracula in season 5.

I KNOW Dawnie doesn't exist yet, I just speculate what everyone remembers her doing during the first four seasons in the memories the monks created for them

Didn't mean any insult. Some people get so used to Dawn that they forget.
I have nothing but the highest praise for this episode. I know its not a favorite for most people but for me it never fails to make me laugh like crazy. The main reason I love it though is because of Buffy. She rarely gets a chance to go all Cordelia and bitch-mode after this season cause then its all into darkness and depression. She shines in this episode and it pays of. Favorite line " Im gonna have to kill her" lmao. Plus who could forget Oz, "on the plus side you killed the bench which was looking shifty".
 
You gotta love this episode. It has a whole bunch of classic moments. A very banner friendly episode lol.

DEFINIETLY not my favourite episode but better than some of the season. The Inititive is a little hard to swallow and it hasn't been introduced here. I do enjoy watching the ep.
 
I think this episode is MASSIVELY underrated... I think it's hilarious! Katie is really annoying, and seeing a Buffy who was slowly becoming soulless was funny! It reflected the alienation many of us feel in a new place, when you are still trying to get acquainted with a new reality, and you have to face new people who you may not get along with.

Also, the Katie demon back story was well told. I really enjoy this episode (and I am always grateful that the dreadful Initiative storyline hasn't started yet).

Eh, this episode didn't do much for me. It was entertaining and a little annoying, but it was interesting to see Buffy in the "brat" role, even if it wasn't her fault. Another time out of the many that the Scoobies doubt the Slayer. Silly kids.
 
I love this episode, always been one of my favorite s4 eps. Lots of funny stuff, like
Willow on the phone with Giles: "I just talked to Buffy, and yeah, I think she's feeling a little... insane. No, not bitchy crazy, more like homicidal maniac crazy. So I told her to come see you, 'kay?" and Willow is looking insanely hot in this episode! 😀 she always is but in Living Conditions it's something out of the ordinary...

I don't think Kathy was that annoying, but the fight at the end is kinda silly, when Buffy tries to strangle Kathy with her sweater wtf.
and Parker was really annoying...
