Buffy ep by ep; TRIANGLE-tears, trolls and tantrums

Instead of a big troll, the episode would have been better if Willow and Anya had gotten into a massive cat fight, rolling around on the floor with clothes tearing off left and right.

Willow: Anya, I have faith in you. There is no one you cannot piss off.

Love that line!

I loved all the Willow in this episode, gotta say. But both Willow and Anya had legit reasons why they didn't trust the other. Anya turned a guy into a troll, and Willow broke up one of his relationships, but I gotta ask. Why not just trust Xander? Why does Anya allow herself to feel such jealousy over Willow? To me it seemed more a problem with not trusting Xander than Willow.

Great episode, it's all about the funny and I liked Willow in this episode, plus she looked hot.

I love Anya at the end talking about different dimensions
Anya: "It's possible that he's in the land of perpetual Wednesday,
or the crazy melty land, or you know, the world without shrimp."

The land of perpetual Wednesday?! I´m laughing just thinking about it.. 😀

Land of Perpetual Wednesday Karma!
Willow annoyed me a bit in this episode...

I mean, why did she absolutely need to do her magics just where Anya works?
Couldn't she just take what she needed and then go to her room or in the training room?
She was there "to help" but she didn't do anything helpful (and she made disappear the cash register!).
For me it's simple: you help or you leave, but don't stay in Anya's way like that!

So agree!

Also, I was surprised with Anya, when Olaf said that he would kill Xander...Knowing Anya, she could have said "NO! Take Willow's life!" but she said "Don't kill him, kill me instead!"
Yay Anya, you are improving!

Great idea! Listen up, Joss!

Oh, and I love the scenes with Buffy crying...she was actually very funny!

Buffy: mh-m-ove-mis-miauculus!
Tara: Their love is what?
Buffy: MIRACULOUS!

This is actually the only part I DON'T like in this episode. Was pretty ridiculous, which was probably the intention.

And when Olaf says Xander and Anya won't last, the look on her face is oh-so-cute-but-in-a-funny-way. And the way she kicks his ass after!

She is a cutie! Cutie little fighter!

This episode let us see Anya and Willow work through built up anger. Who cares? The anger was only there for a few episodes before just so we could have this one. I thought this was a stupid episode with too much of an after school special message.

Willow and Anya had problems. Woohoo. The only thing I liked about this episode was all the Willow, but she actually got on my nerves a bit. As much as I love Willow, they turned her into a stuck up holier-than-thou bitch. It was a little demeaning to Willow fans.

Olaf was annoying. I didn't like him at all. And I really didn't like Buffy in it. The only person I liked in this episode was Xander. Tara was barely in it, but she didn't annoy me.

Best quotes?
That's insane troll logic!

Well, I didn't know if I could until I tried.

I understand I pretty much contradicted myself with my last statement. Willow did aggravate me in this episode, but she's still my favorite character. Plus Anya was really annoying in his episode.

Watched this ep yesterday. Had forgotten which one it was and how much I enjoyed it. Pretty much all the characters had great moments. 🙂

Cool - i watched it yesterday too! I'll race ya to Chosen. 🙂

Anya learning to interact with the world never gets old. The conversation with Willow in Giles' car is great mostly because of the little looks that pass back and forth, or just out into the surroundings:

Anya: Hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. *little smile* I expect us to accelerate.

I wrote a detailed review in the official discussion threads, but I must say that I LOVE this ep! I pretty much laughed through the entire thing after Olaf made his appearance. There is a lot going on with each of the Scoobies and their relationships, too. Definitely a 10/10!!
