really? this was hard for you? I thought converstaions with dead people was pretty good but not better than Selfless. It had a nice plot but more characters should have been involved and it should have been Tara instead of that Psyhic girl with Willow.

Btw to the creator of this post. wouldnt it be easier to put which ones we do want as opposed to the ones we dont want?

I thought Conversations With Dead People was amazing and almost just as good as Selfless. If more characters had been involved they couldn't have fit all that within 42 minutes.

And I don't necessarily agree Tara should have been in it, I sort of agree with Amber Benson and I also didn't even think Tara was THAT great. I would have enjoyed seeing her in it, sure, but the psychic chick is probably my favorite character of the ENTIRE series and she was only in one episode (two, but in the second it wasn't really her).

sorry !!!!! =) It was a really hard choice but it boiled down to which episode was more meaningful and whose death meant more. Obviously Buffys because it had meaning and She sacrificed herself. Not to say that Joyce wasnt as important because afterall she was her mother.

I agree.

I mean, in a way Buffy's death meant more, but as an episode The Gift is weaker. The way Joss did The Body really resonates. As a single episode it was better done and had a more cohesive message. The Body also showed how the different characters coped with Joyce's death in a sensitive, telling way. The Body really captures the essence of death and loss and though Buffy sacrifices herself in The Gift and this is no small feat, Buffy deals with more emotionally in The Body.

I agree The Body had much more of a lesson in death, and is wonderfully written. However I still like The Gift more 😛 Even if you take out the last scene I still like it more hehe. Just love the whole thing


But they're both so good 🙁
