(My first thread!)
So in Season 3 Faith comes into Buffy's life. She's slaying focused, a loner with no ties and reckless to the point where she puts her life and the lives of others in danger.
Buffy on the other hand is much more balanced and thoughtful when it comes to the mission, she's intuitive, trusting and reliant on her freinds whilst Faith shuts people out because she can't trust them. This gives her strength and leaves Faith bitter and isolated.
In Season 7:
Buffy is more slayer-focused/mission as the season goes on, and by the time Faith arrives she is viewed by most as being reckless and putting lives in danger. She also shuts people out a lot of the time- for different reasons sure but trust is still an issue.
Faith on the other hand is more balanced and intuitive, realising that there are problems before they arrive and balancing the mission at hand against the people involved.
Anyone see that their roles are switched?
