Buffy Fans Protest Outside Hulu Office

Buffy fans picket the Hulu offices, according to the write up there were only 20 people there. That says even less for the quality of journalists/ camera operators who work at TMZ.
The photo was of 11 of the (only) 20 people.

A protest with only 20 people? That would be considered within the Hulu organization, confirmation that Hulu made the right choice. One thing about a protest: if there aren't many people in it, it tends to confirm that nobody cares enough to make them change their decision.

To be honest, there were a number of us in this forum who thought that the Buffy we got should not be spoiled by a reboot, remake, reimaging or anything else as the original material was sacred. I was one of those who did not approve of having some Dr. Frankenstein producer exhuming the body of work and reanimating the dead.

Agreed. One of the problems with political action is that failure will set back the cause, don't play your hand with direct democracy unless you intend to win, there are no symbolic victories. But, I think the real problem with this appears to be Disney having financial issues.

Personally, I find it somewhat problematic to demonstrate for something you haven't seen...if it had been about the cancelation of a show that has already been on the air like if they had done this after Angel got canceled, I'd maybe think differently. I also feel like Hulu wasn't particularly impressed by this.

Aside from my personal opinion that they're may be political topics that are more important to protest for than a failed tv pilot.
