I think this belongs here?
We've heard through out time that a Buffy game would be coming out - most recently one in an mmorpg. (which I love the idea of.)

If a Buffy game WOULD come out, what would you guys want from it? Storyline? Characters? ATS and BTVS? Setting etc?

Would you like it be an RTS, MMORPG etc? What platform would you like it on?

I'll post mine laterish, what do you guys think?
 
It should be on the new Xbox Kinect, I don't have one myself, but I've heard about it. It would be fully interactive, you could kick and punch the bad guys, Whilst you progress though it. There would also have to be a strategy element to it, I suppose, where you have to use the right weapons to kill certain demons etc, and storylines, meeting up with different characters along the way, for instance. But the combat should be the main part of it I think, you could have a fight of Angel vs Buffy or Buffy vs Spike or Spike vs Angel, and finally see who would come out on top. 😀
 
I'd like it to be an Action RPG, preferrably in the style of Mass Effect. I don't like too streamlined stories and I like to feel like my decisions have somewhat of an impact throughout the story.

That would be EPIC.... Absolutely amazing. 😀 And good for you, too, since you'd be getting exercise while you played. 😉
 
I would be so keen for a new Buffy game to be released. Even if it was released on a gaming system I didn't have I would still definitely buy it.

I would like it to be with the actual characters though, not just 'slayers' or 'witches' that are unknown. Also, the voiceovers would need to be semi-decent. The Willow voice drives me batshit on the Xbox games!

I don't really know to much about gaming, but as long as it was reasonably easy, yet not to easy I would be happy. The difficulty levels of the previous two Xbox games was perfect for me.

I'd like to see another 'lost' episode kind of game. Maybe a Season 7 episode where you take turns playing as the scoobies and you have to travel around the world finding potential slayers before they get killed off by bringers.

There could be boss fights an Evil (triggered) Spike fight, uber vamps, Caleb and plenty more creative options. Throughout the levels there could be a combination of bringers and vamps attacking.

I think it could be fun. And quite good because there are so many different characters in Season 7 for plenty of different options.

Sadly I can't see anything happening 🙁
 
I'd like it to be on Computer. That's pretty important for me, cause I'm not really the game console guy.
But of course It would be totally OK, if there were also versions for game consoles.

Apart from that I'd very much like the ORIGINAL CAST to do the dubbing for the characters in the game.
The following characters should appear in the game:
Buffy, Xander, Willow, Giles, Spike, Tara, Dawn and Anya as main characters.
Then maybe a few guest appearances like Oz, Angel and Riley or a few Big Bads.


The storyline should take place during the show. Anyway not after season 7.
It doesn't really have to stick to the show's exact storyline.
I'd like it to be more like an alternate sequel after season 5.

Then what should you have to do in the game?
I'd say there should be many riddles and lotsa fighting.🙂

Yeah, I think that would be pretty cool.
 
I would want the game to go all out, be quite adventourous and travel around a bit like Uncharted/Tomb Raider on the PS3. I don't see a game coming out anytime soon though to be honest though.
 
Console game with a focus on the 360; make ports available for pc and ps3

The storyline would take place between season 8 and season 9; featuring Buffy relearning what it means to be a slayer. The first mission would be to
attend Giles' funeral
; shown mostly in cinematic cut-scenes. The end of the story would see Buffy headed back to California to start the new comic season

I would use the same game engine as used on Resident Evil 5; player camera positioned over the shoulder. Each character would have their own separate storyline that you have to play through.

It doesn't really matter though; because you couldn't get everyone back to do voices. I for one wouldn't accept any substitutes for the characters.
