Buffy getting into Northwestern

The First didn't have any plans for Buffy until after the Intercession of Osiris. I mean, aside from her eternal ruination of her immortal soul.
 
The First did not have any plans that were not vague, yet nebulous.
 
That's not false, but the whole "Project: End The Slayer Line" was only possible because of Willow's actions. Had Buffy stayed dead, or never died, it couldn't be an issue. The First would stay in the shadows.
