So, I'm kinda new to this whole "Rick-Rolling" phenomenon. It only started because I'd go to YouTube and try to watch some videos, when all of a sudden, Rick Astley's music video, "Never Gonna Give You Up" starts playing instead of the intended video. Of course, I was annoyed, because I wanted to watch what I came on YouTube for, but it just kept happening, and eventually, I got a few laughs out. You can't take everything too seriously. Have you guys ever gotten "Rick-Rolled"?

Unfortunately, the Scoobies got "Rick-Rolled" as well. 🙂

Nah......but seriously.....been Ricked quite a few times. Coouldn't understand why the fook this was happening all the time. 😛

But I happen to like Rick Astley, so I didn't get too annoyed. Still, the Roll posting was getting excessive at one point. 😛😛

Hahaha! I actually like him too, though. :)
At last, a Rick-Roll video that actually had some thought and work put into it! 😀 Watching other people get rick-rolled it much more fun that being put through it 😉
 
By the way, I posted to answer your post, LDB, but never actually took a look at the youtube video you linked.
Now I have, and it's pretty friggin' hysterical. Makes that scene iconic in the annals of BtVS. 😛😛

Hahaha dude I just saw your post on YouTube! I was like, this isn't our Old Master is it? LOL :p
Haha how had I not seen this before now...? And yes, I have been rick rolled. The worst is the one that opens the video in a new window and opens up an "error" message that will not.go.away. You have to click that thing like 200 times. It's a really great prank though 😉 warning: do not pull it on someone who is over the age of 70 and/or is technologically inept. They will freak the hell out.
 
The part where Xander is like "What is she...?" with that look of disgust on his face and it's the girl dancing in the Rick Astley video?? And then Willow covering Dawn's eyes? OMG. This is the best BtVS video ever. Even better than [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SendZQVVMQM"]this one[/ame].

When you go into your "Post Reply" screen, scroll down a little and you'll see a checked box that says "Automatically embed media". Just un-check that, and your youtube posting will be just a link instead. :)
