Has anyone else noticed the amazing array of hats that Buffy randomly wears?! I'm just not quite sure I get it. She's out slaying, kicking butt in a dark cemetary....wearing a silly hat. Sometimes it just makes me groan....how to you guys feel about it? Tacky or cute?

Buffy wore hats, mostly the kind that we called "watch caps" in the Navy, in more scenes during the earlier seasons, when she did most of her patrolling wearing what looked like some form of workout suits and jogging shoes. I always just figured that she did it to keep her hair out of her eyes or because her head was cold.

If you're talking about that rediculous Double Meat Palace cap in Season 6, that thing was just plain stupid looking

^ I too think it's a 'cute robber' thing she has going. I like the hats. But Willow's hats tend to be cuter than Buffy's.

I think Willow wore WAY more hats than Buffy. And they were all so adorable! <3

Personally, I was digging that stylin' cowboy hat she wore in 'Pangs.' Really went with the whole theme of the episode, you know, her representing the oppressive white people and all.

I hated the hat fetish the wardrobe department seemed to have. Especially in the first 3 seasons, Willow had some truly crazy ensembles, not just hats. 😛

I have to admit that I really can't remember any hats they've used. I need to pay more attention!
