Buffy in The Avengers?

Just a fun question, don't take it too literally, did anyone else kind of feel like Buffy herself could have been in The Avengers, just from a character standpoint (avoiding the nightmare of network red tape that would have been involved)? S7 Buffy was pretty powerful, and fought some pretty massive villains (thinking about it, when you look back through the list of Buffy big bads, they're up there with who The Avengers face).

Just from a pure fan standpoint, that would have been beyond awesome.

It's a nice idea but I think Buffy would be a little redundant in there. You've got Hawkeye, Captain America and Black Widow, I don't think there's enough room for another better than average human. Power-level wise I agree Buffy would fit totally and it would be fantastic to see SMG on the big screen kicking butt and taking names...just not in the Avengers.

I can't see Buffy fitting in to The Avengers at all. It just wouldn't work and anyway we already have a female character (Black Widow) who can kick butt... and better than Buffy. 😉

In all honesty, I'm still waiting for Buffy to make some sort of cameo in one of these kinds of movies. 😛 Hopefully Joss will slip her in somewhere in a future film. 😉
