Buffy is nominated for an Emmy...and wins!!

I wished you could see the results at the moment... I'm wondering, I mean Buffy is probably in top 5 or something, but it has strong concurrention, Grey's Anatomy, The X Files and all that...

I would assume so as well.. and the clip was really underwhelming. Could have been a better representation in my opinion.
 
You guys we should all keep voting once a day, it says on the site you should vote as often as you like, then I think they narrow it down to 10 and theres another round of voting and then the top 5 or 3 clips make it on the Emmy broadcast. Man, I am an awards show junkie and I would kill to see that clip broadcast to millions on Emmy night!
 
yeah it was underwhelming. i wish they did the whole speech up to everyone crying. argh thats kind of annoying. but i voted anyway of course!
 
I voted a bucket load of times!.....well like 6 times since I heard about it a couple of weeks back, and will continue to do so!
 
So I might be a big old traitor, but I kinda think Miss Jane Pittman deserves my vote. I mean, that's a pretty neat moment. You see all those mean, angry looking men glaring at her, but you just know they can't touch her -- and even if they could, who would hurt a little old lady? It was cool to see her with so much power and defiance at the end of her long, hard life. I mean, Buffy was a super hero. Miss Jane was just a woman, but she was every bit as brave.

Since I can vote multiple times, though, maybe I'll give Jane one vote and Buffy another. I can't deny that Buffy's sacrifice at the end of The Gift was a highly memorable moment.
 
About time, but I bet those Little House on the Praire forums...if they exist....are saying the same thing.

Then again, I dunno, did they (littlehouse) ever win anything before?

All I can say is that with Buff its way over due.
 
Well I only voted for Buffy so far cause I'm too scared that me throwing a couple of votes to someone else could cause Buffy the whole thing, lol, like it would lose by one vote solely cause of me. But I do think the Grey's moment is well deserved, although I think I would have gone for the moment where Christina Ricci is freaking out and lets her hand out and Meredith slips hers in, I think that one has an inch more of OMG than the bombsquad guy blowing up. The X-Files moment is also pretty classic. And I love Lost but I could of thought of several more worthy moments than the one they showcased.

Buffy got through to the last 10 in the Emmy voting!!!!!!

I've been back and added another half dozen or so votes myself today - I urge one and all to go vote NOW!!!!!
 
Maybe I'm just overconfident but something tells me if Buffy made it past the top 10 hurdle that we'll definately make it into the top 5 *crosses fingers* Still though we need to vote like maniacs!!!

Oh crap, I thought voting would be open till the day before or something... I kinda forgot to vote again the past few days. Eeeek, I'm so nervous but I cannot wait till Sunday. I am a total awards show junkie. My roommate and I are having an Emmy viewing party, we're DVRing both red carpets and then the show, its gonna be a whole night event, I'm so excited! And the anticipation of having that Buffy clip shown in front of all those TV bigwigs and celebs not to mention millions of people at home is just gonna make it that much more exciting to watch! Hope it makes it and I don't get dissapointed 🙁 Cause if it does make it it really will be like validation a little bit after all these years, not that we need it but, you know.
