I very rarely buy TV series based magazines, whether it be specific show ones like the Buffy/Angel mag or more general ones like SFX, mainly because the news inside is usually about two months old compared to what you read on the internet. Still, a shame to see this ending but how long can a mag run after both series it is based on have come to an end?
This is saddening. Granted, I didn't purchase each issue of the magazine, but it was nice to see a continuing part of the 'verse in print-format each month.
This sucks, because with them ending the magazine I can really tell I'm getting old. It's not our world anymore. It's not a BuffyWorld anymore. It's really going to be up to us fans to keep this going.
I remember going in Barnes & Noble and reading it quite often. I don't think I ever actually bought one though. It's sad to see this series just slowly fade away.
yeah, i remember seeing the last buffy mag in barnes and noble. i bought it when i realized it was the last one. very sad. but hey, at least we have season 8 now..........and dont forget about angel s6.
Oh, then I totally misunderstood it! Yaay for me xD
I would have to go underground if there was no buffy at all left, sitting there with my boxes remembering the old times 😛
I can't say I'm that bothered, it never seemed to have much in it.
and what someone mentioned about Sarah MG I wouldn't mind her disassociating herself from the show, if she tried to do something a bit different now, but its all the same stuff
I bought the new issues religiously when it came out, up until about the 15th issue, but after that I haven't bought them in years. I used to like the small comic section at the back of the mags. They were always fun to read.
I can't say I'll miss it much, with it being so long since I read one but it is kind of sad 🙁
