So did anyone else used to buy the Buffy magazine when it came out? I remember buying both the Buffy magazine and Angel magazine for quite a while before they combined the two into one and I kept on until it's final issue. A few years ago though I sold my Buffy collection 🙂()but now I'm recreating it and have been gunning for the magazines again.

My question is, did you buy any? Have any favorite issues or articles? I loved the yearbook specials!
 
I used to get them from time to time as a special treat! I still have most of the issues I got. The free posters inside were always the best, haha.
 
I always wanted the subscription but wasn't willing to shell out that much money at once for it haha.

Oh I loved the posters!

On a slightly related note, I somehow wound up with quite a few double issues back when I collected them and I clipped out pictures from them and made a big collage. I still have that. 😀

Is the collage like the wall of Jonathan that Willow and Tara make in Superstar? in which case we demand pics! :-)

I bought them infrequently and think I have 3 here in my collection. I've been meaning to get all the back issues, there were some pretty good cast and crew interviews in them if memory serves me.

What is your favorite issue?
 
I have the first 30 uk issues. They're pretty cool to look back at. There's alot of cool pictures of unreleased merchandise that didn't see the light of day. There's also pics of the VHS box sets with alternative artwork before they were released. That kind of stuff amuses me 🙂
In one issue there's an ad for Buffy stuff on eBay, the main picture they use is a pic of a mousemat, how times have changed!

I've got a fair few of them from around 03/04 along with the Angel ones as well
 
I have quite a few of the later ones, they are quite nice to look back through. I remember getting one with a free t-shirt transfer! I can't part with them, just like my old video tapes!
 
I have almost every one as I use to to subscribe and buy them from my local shop I am missing about 3 issues, the older ones are the best shows a lot of the merch that can be found in shops and forbidden planet makes me upset though as it's hard to find most of them these days haha but I do like the comics they had and the gossip of the show and interviews, I really enjoy reading it and hopefully I can finish my collection of magazines 🙂 I love reading the older issues 🙂

Man, I didn't even know there was a Buffy Magazine! I would have loved that when I was watching the series. I've just started putting together my Buffy book collection so maybe when I run out of Buffyverse content I'll start trying to pick up old copies.

Hmm, not sure. There were a few I remember I loved the cover art of but it's been a while since I read the issues. I'll have to answer this later after they arrive. 😉

I'd post pics of the collage but it's a bit battle damaged from years of moving it around. I'll take pics after I repair it though!

I bought quite a few of the Buffy ones when they first came out but I gave them all away a couple of years ago. I'd stopped collecting them by the time the Angel magazine's came out, so I'd never bought any of them.
 
I used to buy them too, so I have quite a few... But being that they were about $10 a piece, I couldn't but them all
 
My mom, subscribe me to the magazine as a birthday gift when I was young, I'm pissed bc I had basically every single one, but as a kid I cut from them to make Buffy collages and now I only have two and with some pages missing, I was also careless with my action figures! As a serious Buffy collector now this makes me cringe !!!!
 
I got the whole lot of Buffy mags ( up till when it became buffy and angel mag), plus 2 yearbook collection ones off eBay for £10 last year. Every single freebie and poster is complete and included, none have ever been removed, and they even had the buffy memrobilia brochures and leaflets with them! Think I got a bargain😀
