Buffy Matchmaker

I got to thinking, Buffy characters have so much trouble with their romances, maybe what they need is to look outside the Buffyverse for a better match.

So if you were going to fix a character from Buffy/Angel up with someone from somewhere outside the Buffyverse what do you think would be a good match.

With Faith the temptation would be to fix her up with a rocker. Maybe somebody like Kid Rock. But then, no I think she needs someone with more character. I think I'd go back to Buffy, not Buffyverse Buffy, but Buffy the Movie. I think Faith could make a go of it with Pike.

Buffy's easy. Peter Parker.

Xander I think needs somebody determined. Somebody who's not going to let him back down, or back out. I say that boxer girl from Million Dollar Baby.

Giles. Dr. Temperance Brennan (Bones)

Willow. That vampire girl who was in that one episode of Supernatural. (See what I did there? 😉)

Cordelia. I always get Sam and Dean from Supernatural mixed up. The older brother.

Spike. Rose Tyler. (Doctor Who)

Angel. Lois Lane.

Darla. Dexter.

Fred. Mulder (X Files)

Illyria. Superman. 😀

Brennan is too young for Giles.

I am not really sure outside the buffy verse as in Characters but if I could hook two people up it would be Angelina Jolie and David Boreanaz. To me, the best looking man and woman in America. Of course just my opinion.

I will think about the rest tho and get back to ya.

Come to think of it though, was there any official word on the Gabrielle and Xena thing? They were from the isle of Lesbos, weren't they?

I honestly think Willow and Gabrielle would make a cute couple. That would have been some great stunt casting for an S-7 Willow-mate.

Couldn't find anything about where Xena or Gabrielle came from.
Weren't you warned not to make anything of the Gabrielle and Xena thing !. You do know why Gabrielle had such a problem getting Xena's horse to like her don't you ?. Xena's horse was jealous !.

As for Willow and Gabrielle = interesting concept, and Gabrielle would have shown the potential slayers new tricks with the staff.

j/k on the isle of lesbos thing. I didn't watch Xena much. The few times I watched it though I got the feeling those two were either getting it on, or were gonna real soon.
