buffy maybe in angel????????

What?

They're both slayers, because they both have the essence of demon. Once Buffy was activated, it was in her blood forever. The demon essence activated Faith, but it was still in Buffy. So it doesn't matter. It's always the same amount, no matter who it was. Buffy was stronger because of who she was before becoming the slayer.

But I'm sure all the other slayers have had prophetic dreams. Giles knew about them from episode one. Not because she told him, but because he already knew.
 
I really hope they have Buffy in a few episodes of Angel, it would be better at the end of the season, she could come back and help fight the apocolypes.

I don't think that Buffy will ever have a normal life, because in season three episode Helpless she said that she couldn't go back to the normal life she had before she was called because she knew about all the demons and vampires.
 
Buffy is still the Slayer, shes just not the only one and well shes probably the most famous Slayer in the world, she attracted Dracula to her who wanted to make her his probably Vampire queen. When the slayer line gets back in order and their is only one at a time, they all will probably look up to Buffy and some will try to surpass her.

As long as their is one single demon in the world Buffy will never be normal and yes having prophecy dreams is something that basically every slayer has, Kendra didnt have them probably because she wasnt even a slayer for like a year and who knows about Faith. In Fray, Fray is the slayer at the time and had a twin brother and her brother got the dreams about all the demons and everything while Fray got the streangth, speed.

The thing about the slayer is that once one dies their power doesnt pass along to the new slayer, that new slayer gets their own set of the slayer power and thats how Buffy is still a slayer. Once you become a Slayer their is no way to get out of it except taking those things Giles injected Buffy with in Helpless and you would have to keep on taking them your whole life just to surpress the power.

Buffy, Kendra and Faith are all 3 different slayers. All 3 grew up differently thus making them who they are today.
 
Dunno if this next season, but i can be sure Joss Whedon is going to do everything to have her in the series finale, no matter when that happens
 
buffy has not been the slayer since season one

if a piece of the slayer power was to stay within each dead slayer then each slayer would have less power then the slayer befor them as time was to pass the power would fade and eventualy be gone buffys powers were stronger then any other slayer ever

why?.....
perhaps we presumed that they were the powers of the slayer but we were wrong
i think her powers come from another source that we have yet to discover
 
When slayers die, their powers do not pass on to the next slayer, the new slayers inner demon activates and then they get their own pair of powers. So Buffy is THE slayer but she still is A slayer and the most famous slayer alive at the moment

It's not the power of one demon that gives her her power. It's not from one demon.

It's the essence of demon, a mystical power not a physical thing that would break apart if there were two slayers.
 
Yea, Buffy definately didn't lose her "slayer powers" after season one becasue she definately got much stronger after season one. Hell, she didn't kill the Master until AFTER she died. Perhaps dying and reliving could be some sort of key to power in the Buffyverse. Dunno, just a thought. Probably not right, becasue even though she was a lot more determined and powerful after she died in season one, she obviously wasn't that way when she came back in season 6. She needed that realization that she wanted to live in order to become powerful again, and i believe that Buffy totally kicked ass in season seven becasue she realized this at the end of season 6.

Anyway, Buffy did not loose her power, her power was not split. She is born with the power, and when the time was right (when the previous slayer dies), her full power was activated.

Perhaps the spell Willow did at the end of season seven somehow tricked the power in every potential around the world and therefore released it. And the one thing that i really didn't understand was that whole axe/scythe thing holding the power. One out of many flaws in season seven. The axe was obviously made after the slayer line began with the magikmen. So how exactly did it hold the power to release the slayer within every potential? TO me season seven was not very informative, leaving many wholes that were never filled in. Hopefully, all of the answers to our dying questions shall be answered in the form of Angel, another spin-off, or even a movie. I mean, Star-Trek did it, why can't Buffy?

Okay, I've now realized that I've drifted very far away from the actual subject and I will shut up now.
 
The Sytche was made for slayers and had mystical energy in it probably. Willow used the Sytches power to open up the Slayer within every potential.
 
I'd love to see the conflict that could come by bringing Buffy, Angel, and Spike together. Quite the tense atmosphere that could be if done properly.

yea interesting and tense...Buffy did both of them...But you cant blame her...Angel was in from the start...But he left, so spike jumped in...You cant turn angels charm down.But ya cant turn Spikes..Spike-ness down eather...now that would be tense...
 
Just my two pence worth, but I can only think of two reasons why they would bring Buffy into Angel:

1) There is a rogue slayer, that needs stopping. Buffy being as experienced as she is would be the natural choice to stop/coerce her.

2) There's an event that specifically needs Buffy's intervention - eg something to do with her history with either Spike or Angel.

I find it hard to imagine a world full of slayer-types. It will definitely make for an interesting season. I've never been a big Angel fan, but this could be intriguing. I'm not overly keen on the idea that the episodes will largely take place in isolation, although I don't imagine Joss would leave a show with NO continuing arc.

I've just come back from the David Boreanaz European Event in Brighton, and during the Q&A session he said Buffy WAS going to be in 2 episodes in Season 5. Make of that what you will.

Nice to hear that there will be some tension with Buffy coming to visit the AI crew.
 
He was quite subdued. But he also said he would be directing episode 10 of Season 5, and he also kind of confirmed that he had to turn down Superman because of Angel commitments, without actually saying it. He kind of alluded to it, we knew what he was talking about. He also said there were unresolved misunderstandings between Cordelia and Angel that would be touched upon in season 5, and he said he hoped Connor would play a part in season 5 at some point.
