Buffy MultiPlayer online game announced

Should be set after season 7...
They should have different types of characters (Slayers, Watchers, Different types of Demons, Vampires, Witches, Warlocks, ect)
Say you were a slayer maybe it could show you a clip of the character you have made being found by Buffy or another character and show them being told about what they are and then tell them that they need to travel the world helping people where they can and killing vampires and demons ect wherever they can.
Each type of character can have different storylines and the characters from the show can guide them or make an appearance.
 
Does anyone know if there's still plans for this to go ahead? I'd love to play it. ;D
 
Sounds exciting! My only fear is that I'd have difficulty getting off the computer. 🙂

I do hope they release the Firefly one as well.

I think the people that are making the game have already come out with a demonstration of what the game will be like. It's not a Buffy demonstration, it's just a short game where you play a warrior battling another warrior or something. Let me see if I can find the link...

Anyway, it's kinda like WoW, if WoW had been made in like 1997 and crossed with Street Fighter. It doesn't suck, but it's probably not what most people think of when they think "mmorpg" these days.

Some of the previews of other games they're doing don't look too bad, but they look kinda... I dunno... simple? That's not the word I'm after, but it'll do. In the end, the games they're making are intended to be shared, like socially, as fun social apps that people can play together in a browser. They are not hulking, immersive mmorpg's like WoW or somesuch.

I will still probably still want to play it and see what it's like, when they finally get around to putting it out, whenever that is (if ever).

I've read there's 2 versions of hte game. a browser based one that (obvously) will not have the graphics/gameplay of the actual full version that's meant to be installed onto your comp etc.

The game's been in development for awhile so hopefully it'll be good. (i find there's LoTS of MMO's that want some of that sweet WoW money lol so they churn out sub par games).

I don't know. I mean there's a website by the studio/team developing the game but as of yet (or least last i checked few weeks ago) no info ON the game itself.

But i gotta imagine if they're releasing statements and preparing to set up a website ABOUT the game it's gotta be in the process of being made.
