Hey guys, I didn't see a thread like this yet, so I figured I would post one. So far I'm in the middle of my first Buffy novel "Pretty Maids All in A Row" and it's really good. For those of you haven't read it yet, it is a must read if you are interested in knowing more about the SITS and gives insight to the lives of Spike and Drusillia during World War 2. So far I'm very impressed by these books and I think it adds to the mythology of the series, it also helps if you feel like there is no Mutant Enemy shows on TV right now and you need that Buffy fix somehow.

Since Pretty Maids All in A Row is my first Buffy Novel, I would like to know what everybody recomends, also any comic book or graphic novel would also be very cool.

I remember I began reading 'Pretty Maids All In a Row', but for some reason I stopped. I am going to start it again from the beginning after I have finished reading 'The Wisdom of War'.

I have got a load of these books, more than enough to last me until next season of Angel, yay, lol.

I have 2 full bags full of Buffy and Angel books but I have only read one so far and I'm not even finished it yet. I am currently reading it but I am almost done. I only have like 2 or 3 chapters to go. It's really good. It's called "Ghoul Trouble." Have any of you read it before? It's really good.

There are like 2 stories to it. Once is a demon named Solitaire kills powerful vamps and he attacks Angel trying to get to Buffy. He then kidnaps Buffy's mom and hold her hostage so that Buffy will come to rescue her and he can fight her to the death. The other story (my favorite part of it) is where there is a band called Vyxn and they are really flesh-eating ghouls who "hypnotize" men using their music, almost like a siren song. well he kills cordelia's "friend" Troy and they kidnap Xander and Willow because they want to turn Willow into a ghoul and in order for the transformation to become complete she has to eat her best friend... Xander. And that's all the farther I am so far.

It's a good book. I recommend reading it, if you havent already.

"Pretty Maids" - excellent book. As nobody replied to a question I asked previously, I'll try again - are the books meant to be canonical? As there are deaths which happen in this book which could be considered important which never get mentioned on TV, Trying not to get spoilery there - see the thread I started on novels for what I mean.https://www.buffy-boards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5057&pagenumber=2

"Book of Fours" - also good.

Both of these books were holiday reading for me but I also got the "Unseen" trilogy, after recommendation from board members, which I am looking forward to reading. I can also recommend the "Lost Slayer" stories which I also read on hols. Starting to sense a theme developing here 😉
