So, being behind the times, it's come to my attention that there are two Buffy games for X-Box. Are they any good? And can they be played by someone who hasn't touched a video game since the orignal Nintendo?

I
I love Eliza Dushku
Pick them up. You will be able to learn the controls soon enough :)
They are good. I have both (well one I have for the PS2). Never finished Chaos Bleeds yet though. I keep getting stuck and giving up for ages. One day...

if there's hope for you, there's hope for me too! so yes, one day... :P
Well, the Nintendo has what? Five buttons? A controller has what? I don't know. But yes. They are lots of fun. And if I were you I would pick up an XBox and get the two games cheap and used. The gameplay is the same either way.

But pop in Chaos Bleeds first and find your way to the arena things. Figure out the controls and they are basically the same for both games. Good luck and have fun!

And if you want to pay $20 for both of them each, that's worth it, too!

I really enjoyed Choas Bleeds for PS2 and I really wish they would come out with another Buffy game, I mean it's the perfect platform for the Buffy world...and hopefully they could make the game a hell of a lot longer, because I love long video games, like 40+ hours, so long as they're interesting of course

I hated Chaos Bleeds. I never got into it.

However, the X-box original game is well worth it. It's very entertaining. And trust me, if I can figure it out (and I have no hand-eye coordination), anyone can play it. You just have to learn the controls. And you can start out in easy mode first, too.

It's fun. Plus, the reaper is awesome (it's a weapon)

The reaper blade is the sex.

The games are both great. Chaos Bleeds is tougher, and the original is, in my opinion, an overall better game. The graphics in Chaos Bleeds seem to be a step-down from the original.

Absolutely! I had never played a video game before I played the original X-Box exclusive Buffy (aside from a bit of River Raid and Pitfall here and there). This game is so beautiful and fluid - it puts the second one (Chaos Bleeds) to shame. GET IT!
