"Buffy" or "Bones" Teams

Consider Buffy and Angel, with the Scoobies rounding out their team. Now compare them as a team with "Bones" Brennen and Seeley Booth with the forensic lab crew as their team.

Within the confines of the individual shows' "universes" (demons and vampires or murderers and terrorists) which team was the most effective at doing their job and getting along with each other while doing it?

I think that Bones, Booth, and the Forensic Crew worked much better together that Buffy, Angel, and the Scoobies. They pretty consistently always beat the bad guys, Booth was actually on friendly terms with his teammates, and he even managed to sleep with Bones (AND make a baby) without going evil and trying to destroy the world.

Angel the Series team worked together much better than both Bones and Buffy's Scoobies ever managed. AtS was in fact the only Joss' show apart from Firefly build completely and entirely around a team of friends that managed to act like a single personality - even though the crew continued to change through the 5 seasons.

I think that the overall relationships between the group and the individuals were never quite shattered in "Bones" as much as the were in "Buffy" or "Angel."
I mean, the Bones crew stayed pretty tight during all of the seasons, or at least were always able to face each other day-to-day, while in BTVS and ATS there were a couple of instances in which one or more members were completely exiled or hated another member completely.

I would say that Bones team are the most effective and co-operate the best. Then again they don't have the same kind of in group drama with the turning evil here and there that tends to happen in Btvs and Ats. Also, if I was ever in danger, out of these teams I would put my trust in Brennan and Booth no doubt. They'd get the job done

The Bones team. They got snarky with one another but they never really had any serious falling outs or major secrets like both the Buffy and Angel teams did. When someone's life was on the line they worked together to get the job done, when one of them "turned evil" (Zach 🙁 ) they stopped him, when they lost a member they leaned on each other for support. At the end of the day they trusted their teammates abilities 100%, we never saw that total confidence from the other teams.

I'd say the Angel team would be second. They really became great friends and family to one another. Their biggest downfall was keeping secrets from one each other.

The Bones team no shadow of a doubt. They are all experts in their respective fields from the get go, whereas the Scoobies are a Slayer a Watcher a vampire and a couple of random teenagers who are lucky not to die on a regular basis. That being said I like the interaction of the Scoobies over the Bones team, although the Bones team is pretty cool. And Michaela Conlin is so ridiculously attractive 🙂

By the time the Scoobies are supremely powerful, their dynamic is drastically different from the early seasons and not as much fun to watch. The show is still great but just not as fun as it was early on.
