Buffy playing a "Cordelia" in "Restless"

In Willow's nightmare in Restless, after the Death of a Salesman Play, Willow walks into a classroom and she sees her whole class from Sunnydale High. There's no Cordelia though. What I'm trying to say is, do you think Sarah played a good "Cordelia" in Willow's nightmare and could you see Sarah play her like she auditioned?

Buffy was playing a cruel Buffy in the nightmare. I thought Anya was playing Cordelia.

I think I read here somewhere that in the beginning of the cast of BTVS SMG should play the Cordelia and Charisma should be Buffy. But then then they changed the roles of the two?! (But it could be I am totally wrong🙂) Anybody else heard about this theory?

I agree. I didn't think of her as Cordelia at all. I think because Cordelia wasn't on the show anymore, and Anya was her replacement, it seemed right to put Anya to play Cordelia's role.

Not a theory. It's true. Also, Bianca Lawson, who ended up playing Kendra, was supposed to be Cordelia too. And Julie Benz (Darla), also auditioned for the part of Buffy. It's a very confusing world out there 😀
