Buffy Podcast

Hey people...ok me and my girlfreind are thinking of doing a podcast of Buffy from the first season to the last doing all episodes...do u all think this is a good idea or not.

i think if you've got a perspective you want to add to the discussion of Buffy then by all means do a podcast. I'd probably listen, i listen to most of them. Good luck with your podcasting endeavours.

Palabrvampiress, podcasts are like radio shows where people discuss whatever they are interested in. there are quite a few Buffy/whedon related ones. There is one called "strangely Literal" that you would probably enjoy as it is all whedonverse fanfic (i like your gordo stories btw). Also Buffy Between the Lines is like an audio drama that is like dramatised fanfic i suppose and it's quite good too. Many podcasts just sort of review and discuss each episode. find them by doing a podcast search in iTunes.

I would definitely listen, I love podcasts and there are just not enough on the subject of BtVS. I wish you all the luck with the podcast-making! 🙂

Podcasts are a great way to share your passion with other fans!

As you can tell from my signature it's something I've greatly enjoyed doing for the past couple of years. So feel free to let me know if I can offer any assistance.

The only way you "might" get yourself in trouble legally would be if you used audio clips from the show. Many podcasts do that to enhance the experience but as long as you aren't trying to make money by doing it you'll probably be OK.

I've just recently finished watching Buffy myself so I'm just now starting to discover forums like this one and starting to listen to some of the Buffy podcasts myself.

There is at least one Buffy podcast out there that does episode by episode discussions. It's called "The Watcher Cast". I'd share the URL but as a new member to the forums I can't quite yet.

You might want to listen to some of the other Buffy podcasts that are out there to see what other people do. A couple I'd recommend are...

There's no reason that you can't do a podcast that's very similar to other ones in existence especially if either you have something different to say or you just enjoy sharing your thoughts with the rest of us. I know several podcasters who don't care how many listeners they have they just enjoy the creative process and sharing.

Thanks u all for the feedback on this...me and gf are really excited about doing a podcast but not sure if i'll happen cuz it's expencive to get the stuff we will need..but hopefully we can do it..thanks agian.
