1. The first character I fell in love with:
Spike. I don't love him so much anymore, but he definitely still has a place in my heart.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Willow, I always liked her, now I think she's great.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
There's honestly not one character I hate. I like them all. Even the bad ones. Kennedy never really bothered me, and I've always found Dawn to be a totally realistic teen.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Andrew. I thought he was absolutely hilarious.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
Spike. I know I said above he still has a place in my heart, but I don't love him anymore. Fandom scares me a bit these days, (lol hypocritical much, maybe I mean intense fandom) and I try to distance myself from "loving" characters. Maybe I'm missing out.

6. The character I would *make a spell* with:
Spike. No questions asked.

7. The character I'd want to be like:
Buffy. Or perhaps Cordelia.

8. The character I'd slap:
Warren. More than a slap, actually.

9. A pairing that I love:
Buffy-Dawn. And I definitely don't mean that in a romantic way! I love the sister relationship they have.

10. A pairing that I despise:
Don't despise any, all had their time and place.

Nice! Okay, I'll bite even though I'm only halfway through Buffy season 3 and haven't yet rewatched Angel.

1. The first character I fell in love with:
Buffy. I had a huge amount of empathy for her and admired her during seasons 1-2.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Drusilla. When I saw her long ago, I just thought she was weird. Now, however, I'm beginning to see the method in her madness and it fascinates me.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
I don't know if everyone else loves him, but I despise Xander.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
It seems quite a few people don't care for Drusilla

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
Buffy, surprisingly. I like her a lot less in season 3.

6. The character I would *make a spell* with:
Definitely Spike.

7. The character I'd want to be like:
Buffy from season 1 & 2

8. The character I'd slap:
Xander. He's made so many stupid choices and does little to change his ignorance. Also, his willfully evil lies that he's made attempting to 'off' Angel really ticked me off.

9. A pairing that I love:
Spike and Drusilla. Even their actors agree that neither is really complete without the other.

10. A pairing that I despise:
Xander/Cordelia

1. The first character I fell in love with:
Willow. I used to looooove Willow.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Fred I guess. Her voice annoyed the hell out of me when I first heard it.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t:
...I love everyone haha. I mean, Kennedy kind of got on my nerves but everyone pretty much hates her 😉

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Andrew! I didn't even realize that people disliked him, I love Andrew 🙂 He annoyed me on Angel but overall, he's great.

5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer:
Willow, she annoys the crap out of me sometimes. I still love her, she's adorable and sweet....but I used to be obsessed haha.

Can I pick more than one? 😉 If so, Spangel. Yes.

7. The character I’d want to be like:
Buffy. Some of the things that she says remind me of myself, but I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to...anything physical 😉 but she has an unfair advantage!

Yeah, I guess Warren, seeing as he's a misogynistic asshole. I've wanted to slap them all at times though.

9. A pairing that I love:
Tillow. Always and forever.

10. A pairing that I despise:
Duffy. I know it's not canon but...ick!

I can't pick a favorite, ugh it's too hard. I really do love Giles, he kind of reminds me of a cooler version of my grandpa 😉 and he has said so many awesome things! Xander was definitely my favorite when I was younger. One of my favorite Giles/Xander moments:
Giles: Here comes Buffy. Now remember, discretion is the better part of valor.
Xander: You could've just said "shh!" God, are all you Brits such drama queens?

Fred, "You know what they say about payback? Well, I'm the bitch." (The Willow line is: "It's a doodle, I do doodle...you too, you do doodle too!")

13. My five favorite characters:
Willow, Fred, Giles, Buffy, Spike. Sometimes I switch between Angel and Willow. They both really annoy me at times, ugh. I mean Angel on Buffy was pretty much a snooze fest. Especially in the very beginning. (Also, no particular order)

14. My five least favorite characters:
Kennedy, Warren, Nina, Lindsey season 5 kind of annoyed the hell out of me, and Eve. (Also no particular order)

15. Which character I am most like:
I can't pick one. Buffy's extreme punning reminds me of myself at times, Oz's silence/the fact that you can't distinguish between his sarcasm voice and his serious one, Dawn's whining (only with my mother...sometimes 😉) and she can be kind of stubborn at times, Xander's stupid jokes haha, I also appear to be shy like Tara when you first meet me, and I enjoy sitting in the dark, reading, and drinking blood, like Angel. Yeah, I can't pick one!

16. My deep, dark fandom secret:
I had a slight crush on Angel for like a month! .........Does that count? ;D Oh, and I once hated Willow for about a year. Haha oh...me.

1. The first character I fell in love with:

Buffy. First discovered her at age 14 and instantly started looking up to her like I'd never done with any other character. That changed for a while as I got a bit older, but I've gone back to seeing her in a similar light; only difference is that now I understand and embrace the fact that she's not perfect.


2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Spike. I liked him as a villain in season 2 but I wasn't all that dismayed when he left. After watching the entire series he'd really grown on me, and as the years went by he became my favorite character, (or tied with Buffy for first place).


3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t:

Can't think of a character that's universally loved that I dislike.


4. The character I love that everyone else hates:

I really don't know who "everyone" hates to be honest. But I see a lot of hate on the boards toward Xander, Spike, and Riley-- I love Xander and Spike and am very fond of Riley.


5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer:

When I first discovered Faith I thought she was so badass and fantastic; a misunderstood, lost soul who didn't really mean to do the things she did but rather acted out in search of belonging. After seeing how she tortured Wesley in Ats I started to think that it was far more than that; that she was truly psychotic, and I liked her less. After her redemption I became a lot more fond of her but truthfully I now mostly think her arc is very forced and unbelievable so I can't really enjoy her very much as a character.


6. The character I would *make a spell* with:

I swear I'm not naà¯ve but if we're talking literal spells, I choose Willow. If we're going with the just less than obvious double entendre here then I will simply say that I am a happily married woman. 😀 But alternate universe/hypothetically/no-choice-but-to-pick-someone-speaking, then it's Spike.


7. The character I’d want to be like:

I need to get a lot more of season 2/3 Ats Cordy into my personality.


8. The character I’d slap:

Ugh I hate to do this but: Giles. I adore Giles so much of the time, but given the fact that he left Buffy and the scoobies to fend for themselves then came back and tried to kill one of the only people who took care of them in his absence, I'd say a slap was in order. Sorry Giles.


9. A pairing that I love:

Spuffy. Guys, I hope you were sitting down for that.


10. A pairing that I despise:

I don't despise any canonical pairings though I strongly dislike Killow and post season 2 Bangel, (though I tolerate the latter way, way more than the former).

I really don't know. If you met me at a party you'd probably think I was most like Anya, (killing and extracurricular interests aside). I can appear very literal, quick witted, and self assured. But realistically I'm far more like Willow with a lot of Buffy mixed in.

Not a secret exactly, but I stopped watching the show for a couple years while it aired for several reasons. I regret it!

1. The first character I fell in love with:
It's either Cordelia or Anya..but Anya just comes to mind because I remember loving when she was on screen. It's like I saw her across a crowded room~

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Ermmmm, Spike? I don't love him, but he comes to mind as the biggest turn around for me. I remember thinking I wouldn't like him all that much but I ended up enjoying him.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Giles, I suppose. I mean I like Giles. The characters I don't like are Dawn and Connor, but it seems most people agree with that from what I've seen. xD I guess Giles works for this answer because, while he can be funny at times, he was the adult of the group and I never related.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Riley. I liked him - he was a nice guy and a good "real" boyfriend for Buffy. He gets a lot of hate because he was an obstacle for people who ship "Bangel" & "Spuffy"

Xander? I just remember liking him a whole lot more in the early seasons. I really didn't like him in seasons 6 and 7.

I don't know if this has a different connotation xD .. but if a spell...then Willow obviously. She is the best @ it! IF its....something else...I think Cordelia is the prettiest.

I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's depressing.

There's just so much to work through. Trust has to be built again on both sides. You have to learn if - if we're even the same people we were. If you can fit in each others lives. It's a long and important process, and can we just skip it? C-Can you just be kissing me now?

Riley, dude is awesome! I never expected to adore one of Buffy's boyfriends (other than Angel) so much.

Spike: I find him entertaining but I don't love him....and sometimes I find it hard to even like him. Wesley: I only enjoyed his character for a few episodes in season 2 of Angel. Xander: He is one of my least favorite fictional characters ever.

1. The first character I fell in love with:
Buffy. She was definitely my first girl crush.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Wesley. As I mentioned recently I didn't see Angel until quite recently, yet saw BtVS as it aired. I never would have imagined how much I would fall in love with that man.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Faith. Completely overrated.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Scott Hope. I've said my reasons before on here. I thought he was cute and funny.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
Xander. He was one of my favourite characters on my first watch, then for awhile I couldn't stand him. Now I just feel indifferent most of the time and have conflicting ideas the rest of the time.

Wesley. Wyndham. Price. Mmmhmm...

Buffy. Always have, always will.
