So yeah, images of the Buffy ReAction Figures have been released.

I was pretty exited when I heard that new Buffy figures were being released, but when I heard that they were merely going to be 'ReAction' figures styled after the old Kenner figures from the 70's and 80's, I was a little disappointed, but decided I would wait until official pictures were revealed before making an informed decision on whether or not to buy them.

Safe to say that I'll be saving a bit of money here. I know these are supposed to be crudely designed as that's the style of the line, but if I didn't know these were supposed to be Buffy characters, I'd have no clue that most of these were and who they were supposed to be.

Maybe I'm better off getting the old figures on eBay if I want to own Buffy action figures, or just wait and see if a proper line gets released

Ugh these are awful, This is why I hate some merchandising lines. They just stick the logo on them and expect them to sell.

Buffy looks like a prostitute!
Angles wouldn't wear that t-shirt and the Willow figurew looks like someone made a figure of a mom from a 80's tv show

I completely get what they were going for here, but these literally just look awful, especially the Willow figure 🙁

I definitely would save the money and get the real action figures off Ebay or Amazon.

Just...why? Why would anybody buy these? 😕
You show them to anybody and their gonna wonder why you spent money on them!

I also doubt their collectable value, because of the poor quality.

Urgh. Double Urgh.

These are horrible. I have nothing more to say about them.

When did Spike start wearing parachute pants?

I think that's supposed to be his duster...it's saying something when we can't tell...
One thing I noticed is that the Spike figure's head looks almost exactly like the one used for the Wash figure

This is a sign of disrespect from the manufacturer who is thinking, "They're fans, just crank them out, they'll buy anything." The whole concept of action figures is infantile enough. Bad quality designs like this are even more so.

I agree with you, but the thing is that there is always someone out there who doesn't care how crappy they look; they'll get them just because they're Buffy-related. :\
