Buffy Revamped

So, @Skanky Vamp was being kind with his thoughts (#2) on the trailers, though I must agree with the sentiment of that comment.
 
Yeah my immediate thoughts were, "Can he do that?" Does he have permission to be profiting off of somebody else's IP? May fly under the radar if it's not too big, but if it gets noticed, I imagine the rightsholders at Disney will crush it.

The ASLEF strike only impacts the Brum date. Can't you make Salford?

It's parody - the law is slightly different. He's done a Friends parody (The One with Gunther) so I presume he knows what he's doing. He doesn't "fly under the radar" with it. I'm pretty sure he took it to Edinburgh and that's the largest Arts festival in the world.

Oh right, it classifies as a parody, that makes sense. (not being sarcastic, idk if sometimes text is interpreted that way.)
 
Just booked tickets to see this show at a local venue in February. I'll let you all know what Mrs P and I thought of it in a couple of months.
 
Well, that was fun. A good show for the BTVS fan with a sense of humour. Recommended if he is playing in a theatre near you. Mrs P didn't enjoy it as much as I did but she was full of cold. I also came away with some emergency stakes, which bore an odd resemblance to chopsticks.Local vamps won't stand a chance...IMG_0439.jpeg
 
I do not understand why a vampire would use chopsticks to drink blood?

Maybe if egg fried rice was mixed in with tomato paste, though that might increase the consistency of a vampires bottom burps? Can a vampire smell stuff?

They certainly can smell stuff.

Angel: (Sniff) "you slept with a bleached blond last night".

Wesley: "How did you..."?

They actually have better smell than humans.

And I believe Angel said on Angel that they can eat human food, they just don't get anything out of it. And the general speculation is that food wouldn't digest, and might just sit there.

Spike certainly enjoyed eating human food.

"I wonder if Asian House is open."

He may not have got any nourishment from it but he enjoyed the taste of human food.
