Buffy/Riley VS Buffy/Spike

It's usually always Bangel VS Spuffy, so I wanted to try this for a change. Don't get me wrong, I'm a TRUE Bangel but I thought we could use alittle change.

I, myself, prefer Briley over Spuffy anyday. He was sweet to her, and there wasn't any violence in that relationship. Though I will never believe that Buffy loved Riley, he even knew this... but he was still better for her then Spike ever was. This is gonna be like a "you have to choose" poll. 😛
So if you HAD to choose, which ship would you choose?
 
Angelsgirl I'm with ya! Briley all the way, I've always been part of that Minority that Liked Riley, But what can I say, He was a visionary, he knew his fate, he knew she didn't love him. But he loved her so much he couldn't let go. It made me want to give him a big ol' hug I felt bad for him.
 
Okay, even though I didn't like Riley much ... It's still better than Spuffy. So I'll go with Briley. I mean, that was the most normal relationship she's ever had and I think he made her happy ... no, she didn't love him but at least she had a little cardboard person to enjoy for that year and half. 😀
 
Well I liked Briley most of the time, whenever I saw them together they reminded me of a married couple.
 
I had to go with Briley..I hated Riley,but Spike...You know what I mean..Briley was sth different..
 
I had to go with Briley also... I'm not a big Riley fan but I don't hate him either. He was very good to Buffy and he loved her. And I don't like Spike that much either... And he wasn't goof for Buffy at all so I have to say Briley. 🙂
 
(Bangel shipper)...Briley was better than spuffy,..at least it was something,..riley was buffy's boyfriend and he cared about her,he really loved her...spike was only worried about being obssessed with her(s6)....s7 was better,he wasn't obssessed,but tehre was no spuffy cuz they weren't together so i don't count that season as a spuffy season,there was no ship...my vote goes for briley

Spuffy all the way. I didn't absolutely hate Briley or anything, but Spuffy is just so much more intense and interesting. Plus, Spike's way hotter. 😀
 
Spuffy, definitely. I may have found them boring in S7, but a boring Spuffy day is better than an exciting Briley day. I never hated Briley, but I never liked it. I really got excited about Spuffy in S5 (keep in mind that S5 was my first year).
 
I am a Spuffy shipper! Briley is doing better than I fought it would do.
 
I know, I didn't expect Briley to do this good, thought I'd be the only one that actually liked it.

Same here! I've always liked Riley, he was good for Buffy and what she needed at the time. A normal Joe, not Spike. Poor Riley though, I felt so bad for him when he said, "but she doesn't love me."
 
I really liked Spuffy in S5 'cause I felt sympathy for Spike, but I didn't like them much after that, so I'll go with Briley even though I watch them with a little disgust. Riley was sweet.
 
Well, I like Riley but IMO...Briley was BORING...I love Spuffy above all till the end of time. That was excitment and passion and I was never bored with them. Not even in S7. 🙂
 
Spuffy because I hated Briley and thats because I hated Riley! Ofcourse I am actually neither shipper for those. I am an Angel/Buffy shipper for life!
 
Im obviously a Spuffy fan, so i think you all can tell which i picked, its not that i hated Briley, its just that i didnt care for them together, ill always be a Spuffy fan
