Buffy Season 4 or Angel Season 1?

This may not be the best place to ask this question, but I've already ruined a few things about the upcoming seasons despite my best efforts, so I'm posting here so I don't see anything else.

Anyways, I know that season 4 of Buffy and season 1 of Angel aired at about the same time, right? I assume that there is some sort of crossover occasionally, and I'd like to start the order right. Which should I watch first? Or is it best to do some sort of mix and match?

Thanks for you help. And please, don't give me any plot specifics when answering this question... just episode numbers at most =)

Getting spoiled is no fun. Hopefully this, Crossover Guide, can help you. A mix would be the best. But for now just watch one episode of Buffy followed by one of Angel and you're good. Sadly the guide gives away small things.
 
It's best if you watch one back to back. I remember I watched S1 of Angel on DVD and I was spoiled a lot with S4.

I'm glad that you found your answer okay, we also have a list right here at BB that shows the "order" that Buffy and Angel episodes appeared in, if you'd care to take a look: BtVS/AtS Episode Guide - Buffy-Boards

I just wanted to mention that there is a way that you can "hide" certain forums from yourself to help avoid spoilers. For instance: if you've only seen BTVS up to season 6 and you're worried about reading info about the next season, you could stop the "Buffy Season 7" section of the forums from showing up anywhere on BB (including search results) until you have finished watching it all.

To do this, go to the "Quick Links" menu at the top of this page and click the "Edit Options" link. Once that page loads, just scroll to the bottom and you should see an area called "Forums To Exclude From View". There you can select whatever forums you don't want to see (hold down the "CTRL" key to select more than one) and click "Save Changes".

With that said, AS1 is probably my least favorite season of television in all of the Jossverse. BS4 definitely has it's problems, believe you me, but a few stand-out gold stars make the season even out into a very good entry into the Jossverse.

season 4 of buffy deffo, i don't know what it is with me, i dislike the first seasons of everything.
