Buffy season 5 DVD comes out soon!

Hurray!!!

I just picked mine up this afternoon. I'm pleased with the special features this time around. I feel like they could have added more, especially with the time they have between releases, but they're deffinately better than the previous seasons' box sets.

There are the usual episode commentaries and scripts along with:
Outtakes (Yay, not very many though).
Still Gallery
DVD ROM feature
Featuretts:
-Buffy Abroad
-Natural Causes (about The Body)
-Spotlight Dawn
-Stunt Featurette
-Demonology with Danny Strong
-Casting the Show with Martia Shulman
-Season Five Overview

I watched all of the special features and it took me around an hour and a half, so there's some good stuff there. And Danny Strong is hilarious in the featurette he hosts.

*Also, one of the pamphlet things says that Season six will be released in May 04'

I CAN'T FRIGGIN WAIT! I preordered it on Amazon a couple months ago. Just checked UPS tracking - should be here tomorrow! Yeehaw! Since I am one of those poor sods who didn't discover Buffy until after it ended, I have yet to see Season 5. Wooo!

And if Season 6 does come out in May that would be cool. Amazon has season 6's release listed as July 6, 2004.
 
I had a deal with my hubby that he HAD to buy it for me on Dec 9th, but that he could give it to me for Christmas. Well guess what he walked in with last night!!! And then, to my horror, proceeded to DROP!

I can't wait till Christmas!

I also saw Amazon's JULY 6th release date for Season Six. That's EIGHT months!! I couldn't believe it!
 
Mine's coming today! I can't wait, but I have to study for 2 tests. Grrrrrr....

I wish we didn't have to wait so long for season 6.
 
Anyone noticed a mistake on the back on the Dvd. It said something like "Buffy went to see the Ancient Oracle and she learned that her greatest gift is Love... and power"
Everyone knows that her gift is Death 🙄 Not love Pfff!

I sound just like a geeky Star Trek fan... ewww.
 
I suppose they don't want to give away the season's end. And what a great ending it was!

I've been watching as much as possible. I just finished "Listening to Fear." I love this season!!!
 
No I meant geeky because I was SO picky about something that not a lot of people know/care. But you do are right about the real text being cheesy Pfffff!
 
yea...it sucks that the UK gets them released sooner than the U.S., but at least they are putting them on dvd...if they didn't i don't know what i would do.
